One of the games most powerful and spin-friendly weapons gets updated with a faster feel.

Meet the 2026 Pure Aero Plus. Like previous generations, this racquet gives aggressive players the tools to hit a very heavy ball. What sets this stick apart from the standard Pure Aero is its extended 27.5" length, giving it a higher potential for power and spin (think heavy ball). Although more challenging to swing, this Plus version not only packs more pop but also does a better job absorbing and redirecting the pace of big hitters. For 2026, Babolat reengineers the geometry of the shaft to reduce wind drag, making this extended length racquet feel surprisingly fast. Other updates include the latest version of NF2 Tech, a dampening technology that uses flax fibers in strategic locations to provide a softer, more arm-friendly ride. As with the previous generation, this update has FSI Spin Technology, which combines Babolat's time-tested Woofer system with strategically placed Spin Grommets to increase dwell time and string movement, generating greater spin and a more responsive feel on angled contact. With impressive updates to the frame geometry and dampening, this update checks all the right boxes. Aggressive players looking for dangerous levels of spin and power will love this one. The fast feel is a nice bonus.

Switched From Heavy Racquet To ThisLove the spin and power this racquet has. I've always played with heavy racquets (340+ swingweight, 12 ounces and up) but wanted to try something "easier." This is so much easier to produce spin, pace and serve with. My opponents comment how much the ball kicks and jumps. Give it a demo!

Just returned the demo to TW and meh.Like many I have owned every pure aero plus and thought the last model was the best.

The first two felt like they became a trampoline ultra fast regardless of string I tried so I used to restring very often. The pattern on the outgoing model had great pop and spin and stayed playable way longer with polys. This thing doesn’t even register as a Babolat frame. Anemic power and very muted…definitely not a performance improvement frame like the pure drive.
I hit some stellar forehands with it, but everything else was garbage. Flat serves were ultra brassy when caught high and I didn’t find kick serves to be anything special. My backhand was meh. I don’t understand how anyone who played with the last version of this frame would think this is an improvement…also for the love of god bring back 5/8 grips.

The BombI have found my forever racquet. A little about myself I am a solid 4.5+ on a good day played for around 30 years now. I have bought around 50+ racquets. My most recent ones were VCores 100+, 98+ (new and previous models), Babolats (three most recent ones) 100+, Ezone 100+ and 98+ in the last three iterations. Previously played with Ezone 98+ and really liked it and could get great power from it. OHBH were great with that however, surprisingly, consistency was not there. This 100+ is a game changer. I note the other reviews being variable about the 98 and 100. Yet THIS one; the power, weight, maneuverability, and stability are out of this world. I think it is the torsional stability that wins this over the last model. It does not flutter and the increased SW with the + is a perfect combination. My strings are Kevlar Plus mains and Zyex crosses (used over the last 8-10 years from reading reviews here at TW). Did I say TRY it? Just do it and you will be surprise

Not goodHuge APD+ fan….have owned every version of this raquet and arguably it’s the worst. Very muted feel and felt low powered. I felt like I struggled to get any depth on my one handed back hand. It hits slice backhands well and that was about all I was doing. Really anemic flat serves. Just didn’t feel like a Babolat frame. Really disappointing.

Muted, muted, mutedFelt very vague and power is less, muted feel means I can't feel where I am making contact. Happy to stock up on the 23 version. Only stand out is it's easier to swing and spin is a bit better.
