Overview
With the Pure Drive Team, Babolat puts the legendary spin, power and precision of the standard Pure Drive into a lighter, more user-friendly package. The upshot is a speedy sub 11 ounce racquet that gives rising intermediate players an explosive weapon. Updated with Babolat's new HTR System, the graphite layup has been re-engineered for higher torsional rigidity, resulting in more efficient energy transfer to the ball. To help soak up the harsher vibrations of this racquet's stiff construction, Babolat has devoted more real estate in the Pure Drive's shaft to SWX Pure Feel, a thin and extremely flexible viscoelastic rubber that sits between the carbon layers. Additional features include FSI Power Technology which optimizes the grommet system and string spacing for higher energy return and vicious RPMs (think heavy ball).
On groundstrokes, the Pure Drive Team feels crisp, lively and accurate. It accelerates easier than the standard Pure Drive while delivering the kind of spin-friendly precision that builds confidence on full swings. You'll also find enough power to close out points, and the speedy feel makes it easy to scramble on defense or hit winners on the run. The speed continues at net where this racquet will help you stay active and pounce when opportunity knocks. The Pure Drive Team also excels on serve where it whips easily through impact to deliver an effective combination of power and spin. All in all, the Pure Drive Team is simply a great option for the rising intermediate player who wants an easier path to aggressive tennis.

Customer Reviews
Quality racquetI have been playing with the Pure Drive for many years. I have tried many brands/models and it has been the best for me. I decided to buy a new “backup” and on a whim ordered the Pure Drive Team. I love it! Feels light but hits the ball well. I get decent power and I feel that I have retained control. I use a hybrid stringing and I also get a decent spin from it. Good product overall.

Great StickBeen using this stick for almost four years now and it has evolved with me. It allows me to play aggressive from the baseline while also allowing for great touch and feel at the net. Like the name suggests, I can drive the ball incredibly well off of both wings, and I can absolutely bomb my serve with this stick too. An easy recommendation for any level, from beginner to my level (4.5).

Very solid racquetMy son demoed six racquets and this is his absolute favorite. Tennis Warehouse also has amazing custom service with quick delivery. The racquet arrived with string done per customized request too. Awesome shopping experience at Tennis Warehouse!

Nice StickIf the regular Pure Drive is a bit too heavy, just add a leather grip to this Team version and you’re good to go!
This won't fix all the tennis problems but...It has fixed some of mine. I had developed some pain issues in my wrist/elbow and this lighter weight racquet has been a major help. Plus I have not lost any power from back before I developed this problem in my dominant hand. So I am very pleased.
Powerful and with maneuverabilityI bought my first Pure Drive Team back in April 2022. I really enjoyed how easy it is to run around the court and hit deep shots even while moving.
Also, it is really easy to swing. I strung it at the lower-spectrum of tension and it works like a charm. I bought a second one to use with a higher tension for slight more control and it has been a wonderful tennis experience. I highly recommend for intermediate players that want to play aggressively and with a decent amount of topspin.
Love this racquetAfter searching high and low to replace my beloved (ancient) racquet, I finally found this and have been so happy. It has helped with both power and top spin and I am a huge fan. Bonus points to Tennis Warehouse, who delivered it extremely quickly!
Great racquet for intermediate playersAwesome racquet with a relatively light weight which won't hurt your arm for an intermediate recreational player. Sufficient power and stability with comfort. Very easy to play with.

Comments: I ordered four racquets to test out. It just so happened that it snowed just before the racquets arrived and for a few days into my seven day trial, with snow on the ground there is no outdoor tennis play in Hartford, CT. I called Tennis Warehouse, and they were nice enough to give me a two week extension to test the racquets. The racquet I selected is the Team, it is much lighter than my Tour Plus. The racquet is solid and stable.

Comments: Purchase for my son after he broke strings in three racquets during a match. He was using the 2018 model against a heavy hitter. He's only 10 and he likes shinny new things. He didn't think it had as much pop as the 2018 model, but after hitting a few winners on me, he's sticking with it. I don't think it's as stiff as the old one, but it's hard to tell if there's any impact.
