Customer Reviews
Denver play with Dunlop ATP Tour HA BallsEnjoying these so far - they are good for a single set/session, then as practice balls after. I would say 1 hour of consistent play per can. The Dunlop ball fluffs up quite a bit over the first 30 minutes of play, but does not lose that fluff as fast, the way a Penn Pro Tour or US Open ball does, and compared to basic Penn/Wilson balls (which never seem to fluff) they are quite a sight better.
The weight on racquet contact feels the slightest bit heavier/solid compared to Penn Pro Tour HA, or US Open HA. It is significantly heavier/solid compared to the Babolat Gold HA (which I enjoy using in the winter when court temp and air temp is low, ~40-50 F.
The Dunlop ball also seems to retain is GREEN color a bit better, probably as a consequence of holding onto its fuzz/hair longer than comparison balls. This also makes it easier to see over the course of an evening session.
Good balls butWe are fans of Dunlop balls, we prefer them to any other balls we have tried so far. We are 4.0-4.5 players playing six times a week for an hour. The ATP balls are good but fuzz up quickly after 30-40 min, but even after three hours of play they are still payable, they keep pressure well. But Championship balls are $20 cheaper and they are as good if not better than ATP balls.
