Customer Reviews
OKThey have good bounce and a bounce that lasts through a few sets. But the felt is not that good. After a set of play they get furry and need a shave. I will be going back to Wilson US Open.
AO BallsFelt like I was playing with yellow hockey pucks. Hard, low bounce. My opponent even made comments about how different the balls felt. Glad I only bought 3 cans. Was considering a case. I will stick with my Wilson US Open balls. I never write reviews, but made an exception today. Will probably give the other two cans away.
Surprised!I'm a tennis ball snob. I really dislike Penn and their recent quality. Been a big supporter of Wilson US Open for a while and have enjoyed the Tecnifibre Court ball lately. But these AO balls are AMAZING! Love that they play like the Court and US Open ball but a little "softer." Still fast and bouncy but man, these are something else.
Perfect for hardcourt, top spin, dropshotI love these balls, I tried every brand and type and I have settled for these. They are great right out the can, great responsiveness and bounce, you can play several hours and they keep their quality, I find them wonderful to hit, I can apply great drop spin and they respond reactive-ly well to drop shots.
Love it!Very durable and stay bouncy for a long time
These balls are NOT GOODI just compared this ball to Dunlop Grand Prix (Both straight out of the can). And this one is way worse. Significantly lower bounce, worse sound, even looks smaller. I am shocked to see two new balls can play so differently. Especially if they’re regulation. If this is the ball they are using at the Australian Open, maybe players are right that the balls on pros are getting worse.

Good solid durable long lasting balls. These are excellent balls in my opinion. They feel a bit heavier, like Wilson US Open balls. The covers are durable, and the balls hold up well during play and for several practice sessions after.

Fuzzy tennis balls. As I get older I tend to use more cuts and spins in my ground strokes and my serves. The felt on these balls lasts for three hard sets and they work very well as practice balls later on. I’m 76 years old and I play four days a week.

Love these ballsSecond only to the Wilson US Open balls and not by much. They get fuzzy but the bounce and response is incredible.

Comments: These are comparable to Wilson US Open Extra duty in playability, but the felt seems to last a bit longer. Slightly less lively compared to Wilson, but maintains its character until its unplayable. Dunlop's other balls are not nearly the same quality.

Comments: I bought a case of these and they play nice at first, but then fluff up a lot very quickly which slows them down. However, they bite the strings better after they fluff up for more spin. Compared to Penn Championship, which doesn't loosen the felt at all, seems to slide across the strings making it harder to generate spin.

Comments: These balls are great out of the can and still good for practice days later. They keep their bounce, with a nice cushiony feel off the strings. Longevity far superior to Wilson US Open.

Comments: Tried a can the other day. Everyone in our doubles match really enjoyed these balls. I usually play with Penn ATP's, but lately they seem a little flat, especially in the cooler air. These new AO Dunlops are ready to play right out of the can. Very player friendly, solid, yet not overly hard feel. I will be buying a case at the sale price, which makes a can $3.75. Great value!
