dunlop aussie openthese balls are fine; the problem is you cannot buy the Roland Garros Wilson balls in individual three or four pack tubes, only by the case; that stinks!
Dunlop VGThe Dunlop balls seem a little better than Penn, but the Penn are easy to find at Target. Some Penn balls have an unnaturally high bounce. These seem more traditional.

Perfect Hardcourt BallA reasonably priced ball that is excellent for hardcourt play. Easy to see why the pros use them. Will definitely buy again.
Dunlop balls just aren't my thingI hadn't played with Dunlop balls on a long time so I gave these a shot. I prefer Penn. To me Dunlops feel less lively and a little heavier and these Aussie opens weren't really an exception to that. I could see some players enjoying these more. They hold pressure really well and the felt doesn't fuzz out easily which makes them great for a practice basket in my opinion. I also usually feel Penns are dead by the third set if playing outdoors whereas these would keep going all day.

Comments: These are comparable to Wilson US Open Extra duty in playability, but the felt seems to last a bit longer. Slightly less lively compared to Wilson, but maintains its character until its unplayable. Dunlop's other balls are not nearly the same quality.

Comments: I bought a case of these and they play nice at first, but then fluff up a lot very quickly which slows them down. However, they bite the strings better after they fluff up for more spin. Compared to Penn Championship, which doesn't loosen the felt at all, seems to slide across the strings making it harder to generate spin.

Comments: These balls are great out of the can and still good for practice days later. They keep their bounce, with a nice cushiony feel off the strings. Longevity far superior to Wilson US Open.

Comments: Tried a can the other day. Everyone in our doubles match really enjoyed these balls. I usually play with Penn ATP's, but lately they seem a little flat, especially in the cooler air. These new AO Dunlops are ready to play right out of the can. Very player friendly, solid, yet not overly hard feel. I will be buying a case at the sale price, which makes a can $3.75. Great value!
