Super grip, then super slickI bought a pack of these for the aesthetics of them. I thought the digital camo would look really good on my Wilson Blade v8. While it did look good, that's about as far as it went. I used them to start a match. I'll admit my mistake in not practicing with it first. However, I thought "how different can an overgrip be?" Well, it started out super tacky. It felt like I had wrapped duct tape around my grip with the sticky side out. It felt more like a normal overgrip after 3 or 4 games. By the time I started my second set, they were slick as oil. I felt like I was going to throw my racquet. After the first or second game of the second set, I removed the over grip in favor of no over grip. This might be good if you have two racquets to switch between, but I honestly thought this over grip was a total waste of money. The ambient temp during this match was around 60 degrees Fahrenheit, so not an overly hot day where I would have been sweating a lot.
