The first thing most people notice about the Head Speed One padel racket is of course its singular racket hole on the hitting surface. While air resistance is increased, the racket still handles exceptionally well due to its lower and very user-friendly 345 gram weight. A big upside of the One construction is greater durability, so those looking for excellent long-term value should consider the Speed One for its ability to hold up very well over time. The Speed One's balance is on the higher side at 270 mm, but again, the lighter weight nature of the racket makes this much more viable for newcomers and intermediate players compared to its sibling the Speed One X. The hitting surface is a unique 2D-layered carbon fiber makeup, which has excellent texture for grabbing the ball for spin-based shots, and remains firm for more powerful mechanics.
