This six-sided co-poly takes a bite out of the ball, not your wallet. The fact that it offers above-average tension maintenance for a poly makes it hard to resist.

Very good stringI'll admit, the first time I hit with this, I was less than impressed....it felt like I was hitting with a cast iron pan, the string bed was so stiff. However, this seems to be a fairly firm/stiff string and once I broke it in a bit, my opinion did a 180. It's now one of my favorite strings. It has good balance of control and feel, and holds tension quite well. Next time I get my racquets strung with this, I'll drop the tension by 3 pounds or so. I don't normally hit with a ton of spin, but I don't have a problem with generating spin when I need extra. Doesn't seem to generate a ton of power, which for me is good as I can swing out more freely. Really can't beat this string for the price. Would be interested to see this string in a 1.23mm diameter option.

P6 is a solid choiceI'm using this string in a Dunlop CX 200 (2021 model year); this string compliments this control frame quite nicely in that it provides a great combination of power and control. It's particularly good around the net with touch shots. It has adequate spin and also good control on serves while also supplying some extra power for flat or slice serves. FH/BH slice is above average is you like to chip and charge. P6 was definitely worth a try for me with this control oriented frame.

Excellent stringMy favorite poly. I string it at 52 lbs on my Head Gravity Pro. For a poly, it's a pretty lively string without giving up control. I use an Eastern grip, flatter balls with top but not heavy spin. Can't speak to those western grippers. It holds it's tension very well, strings don't move around. For me, I can step in and hit a fast paced accurate ball without fear of it flying out. I have recommended this string to all my big friends and they love it too.

A Poly of Epic PotentialI have been playing poly and poly hybrid string setups for over 10 years. My go-to has always been a firmer 17 gauge poly either full bed or with a syn gut hybrid cross. As an aggressive all court player with a one handed backhand, I am constantly looking for the balance between feel, power, consistent launch and comfort. Enter Tennis Only P6! I became aware of this epic string when demoing a few racquets for my 16 year old daughter who also plays competitively. Her TW demos were strung with this hexagonal silver string with amazing feel, power, spin and control. I had to try it in my racquet! Strung at 48# with full bed in my Wilson Blade 98 V8, this string has outperformed strings 2-3x the cost. I have supreme confidence when swinging out that the spin will pull the ball into the court. Touch and feel on volleys, half volleys and droppers is amazing, like butter! Typically, I am notching and feeling my strings lock up within an hour of play, I have currently 5 plus hours on my first set of P6 and although notching is present, the snapback and consistent bed response is still there. I also strung a test racquet at 52# and found a different response, crisper and a bit more precise sweet spot. Not unenjoyable but loved the feel at 48#. I am not typically one to "fan gush", but this is definitely a string you need to try. A great balance of feel and comfort combined with great spin and power potential and solid durability and tension maintenance. I am a 4.5 level aggressive all court player with a driving topspin semi western forehand, one handed backhand and serve topping out typically at 110 mph.

suprisingly goodAfter demo babolat pure aero 100, I got one and strung it with my usual setup solinco confidential 16L at 49 and ALU power 16 Rough at 47. However, I did not get good spin as the demo racquet, so I called tennis warehouse, knowing the setup in the demo racquet was P6 at 52lb. Thus I strung my racquet use P6 at 52X50lb. After playing about 10 hours, it looks like it hold the tension well, had good amount of spin, control is decent, no issue to my elbow and shoulder.

The spin and control are incredibleThe spin is truly amazing. When this string is out of stock, I am forced to go back to my old string, which is great but also more expensive and not as spin friendly as P6. One of my customers who plays college tennis uses it with OG Sheep Micro. He loves it. When are we going to see reels of this string?!

AMAZINGIn the world of strings, where tension and touch entwine, The Tennis Warehouse P6 emerges—a quiet, powerful design. A symphony of control, a harmony of feel, It speaks not in loud boasts, but in every solid seal. A whisper on the racquet, like wind through the trees, Its touch is sublime, it dances with ease. The ball, like a note in an endless refrain, Finds its place with precision, again and again. The power it yields is both fierce and restrained, A controlled explosion, where chaos is tamed. Every stroke is a promise, a silent decree, That this string holds the court and sets your game free. It offers a feel that is soft, yet direct, With just enough cushion to safeguard your respect. But don’t mistake its gentleness for fragility— For in its fibers, resides a quiet durability. For the aggressive baseline fighter, it stands as a guide, For the net-rushing artist, it’s an ally, a stride. The P6 adapts, it listens, it knows— Wherever you hit, wherever you go. The durability shines through, an enduring grace, As it outlasts the game, time leaving no trace. It holds form with courage, with resilience, with pride, A companion to every twist, every ride. So here’s to the P6, a string of rare worth— A partnership forged for those who know its true birth. Not merely a product, but an extension of play, Turning each match into poetry, with every sway.
