Overview

The Prince ResiThin Replacement Grip offers a dry, textured feel while providing a smaller feeling gripsize. This thinner replacement grip also offers enhanced feel and feedback from the racquet. There is plenty of traction with a low tack feel.

Thin Grip ComparisonI wanted to use an overgrip without increasing my racquet's grip size, so I purchased three different thin grips, the Prince ResiThin, the Wilson FeatherThin, and the Babolat Syntec Team FEEL. The Prince was the lightest weight (about 13grams) It was also the thickest according to my calipers, but about the same thickness as the Wilson. But all three are very noticeably thinner than a standard replacement grip. The Babolat is definitely the thinnest, I could clearly see and feel the bevels before I put an overgrip on top of it. The Babolat and an overgrip measures close to the same thickness as my previous Head Hydrosorb Comfort grip. The Wilson weighed about 17-18 grams, and just slightly thinner than the Prince. I’d consider it the middle of the road option. I liked the tackiness of this grip the most, but it wasn’t a big factor for me since I was overgripping them.

GOOD, NOT GREATI playtested this low cost grip under multiple weather conditions. Has a dry feel and solid contact. Will not be as thin however as the Babolat Syntec Team replacement grip. The Babolat will finish 3mm or 1/8" smaller than this grip. The other negative is that the ResiThin will leave an adhesive film on an injection molded handle (most of them) that isn't that easy to remove quickly when changing grips. Much better price than the Babolat but not recommended for most players.

Great grip. Nice feel.I'm a 4.0 player and have tried many grips. This has a nice feel on the hands. Great in a dry climate. Liked Wilson tan leather for long time but would lose tack and get slick. This Prince Resi-thin Similar to Wilson Sublime in its comfort and how soft it is on hands (soft but not squishy). For those who like to feel the bevels on racket handle this is why I prefer slightly over Wilson Sublime. Like white over black because white does not feel slick. Could use Sublime and this interchangeably but Prince doesn't add the slightest bulk to the grip.

Comments: I like this thin replacement grip. It is the thinnest replacement grip I've ever tried. It is actually thinner (and I think better) than the Babolat Skin Feel. I will buy more in the future.
