What happened to the Pro Penn Marathon balls?I'm very disappointed with the new pro pen marathon + tennis balls!!
After seeing a podcast with the manager of the HEAD tennis ball department saying about the new recipe and propose new factory in the Philippines, I was excited to purchase a new case of tennis balls only to be extremely disappointed!! The Pro Penn marathon + tennis balls are horrible! After one set, they completely fuzzed up and after a match of 2+ sets, the balls are unplayable! Very disappointing… I also noticed that these balls were still made in China and not the Philippines! Hey HEAD/PENN what is up here? $114 for a case…. when I could spend $47 at Costco and get equally as good balls!
The actual worst balls I’ve ever playedNot much to say. These are really really really bad balls. Extremely light, feel hard, inconsistent balls, they play like they’re dead and they ring the heavens out of your arm. Please avoid these, came from playing with tecnifibre balls and the Penn Marathon Extra Duty + were just terrible.
