Overview

Industry wide, Six Zero is known to spare nothing when it comes to creating and evolving paddles which feature a level of performance that complements just about any skill set, or style of play. And when it comes to a refined edge-less paddle, it is hard to beat what the Six Zero Black Diamond Infinity has to offer! Beginning with its elongated shape, and Thermo-Formed design, the Black Diamond Infinity renders a substantial return of energy (power), extra reach, along with incredible durability, and vibration control (comfort). Within its thermo-formed framework, and surrounding a 16mm Polypropylene Core, is Six Zero's proprietary foam injection. The latter broadens the Infinity's sweet spot, sponges up vibration, and provides an even tempered response across the entire paddle face, with the thicker core adding precision to the equation. Multiple interwoven layers of a proprietary Japanese Raw Carbon Composite surface fortifies the Black Diamond Infinity with the yin & yang of additional power and long lasting spin potential. Compared to the relative performance of the Double Black Diamond Infinity, the (Single) Black Diamond Infinity places more of a premium on power with control, making it ideal for those who want passing power in the fast lane, with enough stop-on-a-dime versatility to shift gears and control the mid-court as well.

Great control lacking power.I've been playing with a Double Black Diamond Extended paddle for the past 2 years and really love the power and spin but I wanted a paddle with a bigger sweat spot without sacrificing control or power. I recently purchased the Black Diamond Infinity paddle because the paddle overview clammed power, control and spin with a large sweat spot. Several reviews on other sites supported this clam. I've used the Infinity paddle for the last month, playing 2 or 3 times a week. I find that the Infinity paddle does have a huge sweat spot and spin and control are outstanding. Unfortunately, the Infinity paddle does not have nearly the power of the Double Black Diamond. I find I have to really swing hard to generate depth on my return of serve and I just can't put away swinging volleys like I can with the Double Black Diamond paddle. I do appreciate the control with the Infinity paddle and have been switching between the Infinity and the Double depending on the group level I'm playing with.
