THE BestIn was lucky enough to be able to trial a bunch of various strings at various tensions while hitting/taking lessons with a corner pro (Greg Holmes) - over several months I narrowed it down to this string at 45 pounds - I also opted for the 18 gauge for more control. This string, for me, offered the most consistent power control and spin. And despite the 18 gauge/thinner string, they don’t break easily.
Great PolyLooking for a poly close to Luxillon ALU Power and Solinco Confidential was just as good and a little cheaper! I string my own racquets and have tried a lot of different strings - Highly Recommend!
18 guage is difficult to findNice to order string and just have a few extras around. Trying out new things

Solinco Confidential Strings amongst the bestI have been playing with these strings since they were introduced a couple of years ago. They maintain tension for a long time. I play two times a week in 4.0 and 4.5 leagues. They have very good spin and with the the proper racquet the spin in very good.

Best String3.5 player here. Love how this string lets me play with confidence on all my shots. 100% recommended.
Solinco ConfidentialOver the last six months I’ve tried a variety of strings (brands like Babolat, Head, Tourna, Tecnifibre and Solinco) in a search for the best option. The Confidential is by far the best string I’ve used. Exceptional tension maintenance and resistance to notching, while producing great spin and power. Confidential also has good feel and comfort, particularly for a poly. Highly recommend!
Solinco Confidential stringA very good string; the best poly. It maintains tension more than other polyesters and feel vivid more of the time.
Confidential 18g HybridBased on TW University's score on stiffness for this string (222 for 16g), I opted to hybrid it with Tier One Ghostwire and I couldn't be happier. I play with several old HEAD i.Radical Oversize racquets and use between 57 and 60lbs tension on the mains and 4lbs less on the Ghostwire crosses. Very plush feeling.
Not a spin monster but control and feel and playability duration are ALL top notch.
There is initial tension loss and then you are good for 3-4 weeks (3-times/week). Who could ask for more?
Confidential in 18gI've tried Tour bite soft and HyperG soft in 18g and they were much stiffer. In a full bed, this is a mushy string. But I don't play full beds. So when I pair this with my current go to cross (Isospeed v18) which is fairly firm for a 19g, I get a very well behaving string bed that offers a nice balance between spin generation, control and power. For me, I've run this full time for 3 months at a time and the only reason i'm cutting out now is because the weather has gone from cold to hot. I also tried 17g, but I find the 18 works better and lasts just as long a time. I guess I'm not a string breaker because I've never broken Conf 18g.
Love this stringPrefer it over the Hyper-G. Strung at 53 lbs on Yonex V-Core. One of my favorite strings.

Comments: I enjoyed hitting with this string very much. I have it in my Blade 104v7 at 46.5 pounds. I liked this string much more than the Hyper-G Soft 18 gauge at 46.5 pounds. I felt like it gave me more spin and better feel.
p>Comments: Video review is spot on. Firmer and more crisp than Hyper-G, less so than Tour Bite, my favorite. I would say it plays similar to Babolat RPM Blast at a significantly lower price point. From: Mike, 10/26/20
