As with the standard Hyper-G, this round version is medium firm and offers impressive tension maintenance for a poly-based monofilament. According to Solinco, it is designed to increase court penetration, making it great for aggressive players who like driving the ball through the court. It also has a low-friction surface, which protects against frictional wear (think durability) and increases snapback for more vicious ball rotation.

A fatter cross that worked just fineI crossed Hyper G 1.20 mm with HGR 1.30mm for a little more snap back.
