Only Poly I Can Play With.I have been trying polys for the last 20 years at every tension imaginable, and always end up with arm problems and inevitably return to gut or multifilament. After a year or so I get disgusting with the lack of control and excess power and try another poly with no success. I was amazed when I bought a used racquet strung with Hyper G Soft and found I could actually play with it pain free! I love the control!
Soft but blahThis string is soft on the arm, but it’s very muted and hard to feel what’s going on in the string bed.
Hyper G SoftI’m an older player who has had elbow issues in the past. A change of racquet and using a hybrid setup with gut in the mains and a softer poly in the crosses has helped. Hyper G Soft is my go to poly, though I’m currently testing Toroline O-Toro in my racquets. IMO, O-Toro has a softer more muted feel when compared to Hyper G Soft. Both good strings. Depends on what feel you’re looking for.
Great feel!I experienced some wrist discomfort while using other polyester strings on my Babolat Pure Drive. However, these strings paired perfectly with the racquet’s power and stiffness, providing exceptional feel. Despite being a softer poly, they still offer impressive control, spin, and power. I highly recommend them for players with stiff racquets or those looking to reduce strain and discomfort after long sessions.
Spin-friendly softer feelNice comfortable alternative for spin oriented strings

Go-to stringI am about a 3.5 recreational player and have been using this string for years. I've tried others and always seem to come back to this one. Great for control, spin and durability.

Hyper-G Soft 17I use this not due to it being softer than standard Hyper-G 17 but for the feel and little extra power boost I get. The slice and touch shots for me feel way better with the soft version. The spin may be a little less than the standard but it's not really noticeable. I currently use it in an Ezone 98 and have tested it in many racquets and for some muted racquets the soft version can sometimes be too muted but in the right racquet this is a top notch A+++ string. I love them in all Yonex racquets.

One of the best poly strings out there!Works well with my Yonex Vcore Pro HD, Yonex DR, Yonex Ai, Tecnifibre T-fight 18x20, Yonex VCP (blue/red), Bab PS limited 95 (strung at 40 pounds). This string can do it all, hybrid or not!

Great all around stringI am two years out of playing NAIA college tennis and I was looking for a string that was durable, provided the opportunity for good pace, and wanted consistent control - this string delivers. I've used it in the past but recently purchased it again and lowered my tension to 50. It feels incredible.
Great for tennis elbowI've struggled with elbow and shoulder pain for years. If you want to hit with poly but can't take the wear and tear on your arm, try this one out. Good for spin and power, but not as hard on your arm as other polyesters.

Comments: Great string, especially for those of us with sensitive arms. I've played extensively with regular Hyper-G and recently I've also been hitting with Confidential, which is also a great string. However, after a recent bout with tennis elbow, both regular Hyper-G and Confidential were giving me arm pain in my regular racquet, even when strung at a lower tension. Hyper-G Soft feels very similar in response to regular Hyper-G, but I haven't experienced any arm pain while playing. In addition, even though I've been stringing Hyper-G Soft in the 40 pound range, about 8 to 9 pounds less than my usual tension, control and spin have been excellent and tension maintenance has been decent, although the strings do break a bit more quickly. Still, given my elbow pain, this string has really hit the mark and has allowed me to continue playing with no noticeably drop off in performance. Will definitely add to my string rotation even after my elbow fully heals.

Comments: Strung this up in a Prince Textreme Tour 100 310 grams and found it to be acceptable, but not especially noteworthy. It plays like any newer soft co-polyester string. Reminds me of Diadem Solstice Power, but with less spin. Power, spin, control, all acceptable, but also unremarkable. If you like the mushy feel of a multifilament, you may like this. For those who like a more crisp sensation at contact, such as Volkl Cyclone or Ytex Quadro Twist, this string is probably not worth your time. I cut it out after a week of hitting with it, so I can't comment on its durability, but I got six hours out of it without greater than usual tension loss.
