STABLEAs a 4.5 player in my 50s, this is the racquet that replaced my RF 97 I've been using for years. So stable, with plenty of plow through! The 18x20 string pattern still generates plenty of spin. Control is great too.
Old man’s racquetI am 81 and have used many of the light, oversized and extended length racquets. I still keep returning to the 18x20 heavy racquets for plow through and accuracy. While I am not the strong 4.5/5.0 singles player I was in my 50’s, I can still have good points with singles players half my age. That is where this racquet excels. If you want to hit strong deep shots, have accurate flat and spin serves and volley crisply, the 18x20 Wilson Blade Pro is superb. Just add a leather grip and you will feel young.

Amazing plow through and control.I visited and friend of mine and headed out to the local racquet club, not knowing that I left at home my tennis bag, full of my favorites HEAD racquets. (All 10 of them). She uses the regular Blade 98 V9, and allowed me to hit with one of hers. At first sight, I fell in love with the Blade 98 V9 18x20. I did some research on the Pro Blade and went ahead and purchased one. My God, what a racquet. Amazing control and power. Very easy to generate power, and no matter how hard I hit the ball, the topspin generation kept the ball inside the court. Very stable, and accurate at the net. Highly recommend this racquet.

Got the regular V9 proOrdered the Blade V9 PRO (used) but Tennis Warehouse sent a regular Blade V9 Blade by mistake. Immediately contacted them and sent it back. Still waiting for a V9 PRO. I trust Tennis Warehouse, been ordering for more than 20 years and they always make it right.

Amazing RacquetOriginally coming from a RF97, I wanted to find a racquet that had a slightly lower swing weight, but felt just as stable. This racquet was exactly what I was looking for. No regrets at all. I have both the 16x19 and 18x20 versions and I after extensive testing, the 18x20 is the right choice for me and I've bought a 2nd one as a backup. The Blade 98 Pro has a higher launch angle to begin with, so the 18x20 version feels closer to my RF97. The 16x19 launch angle felt just a tad too high for my gameplay.
