For the most aggressive and powerful of players, Wilson's Defy Pro v1 packs more than enough punch to end points with devastating pace. The Defy Pro v1 comes in at around 370 grams, making it the heaviest and most powerful option within Wilson's power range of rackets. In addition to its diamond-shaped profile, the racket utilizes a medium-low balance of 265 mm for powering through overheads with ease, making Wilson's heaviest power racket also more maneuverable. To increase handling even more, the racket's Aeroexact Design near the handle make cutting through the air even easier. For such a power-based experience, the Defy Pro has surprisingly good touch (thank you, Power Foam internals) and spin capabilities, making lobs and volleys more than doable, largely boosted by the 15K Carbon Face and Spin² Texture. Nearer the top of the racket's face, the hole pattern is larger, more open, which boosts power and speed through the air. Towards the handle, the other half of the Duo Grid pattern uses smaller holes to boost spin and control. Though diamond-shaped rackets are inherently demanding, our equipment testers were pleasantly surprised by how viable the Defy Pro v1 was for a variety of play styles, letting attackers go after more points, and boosting defenders' offensive capabilities. For those craving extreme mass-based power with above-average handling relative to its weight class, it's hard to top Wilson's Defy Pro v1.
