Pickleball Apes Pulse V Pickleball Paddle
Overview
It’s the planet of the Apes, but they’re paddles! Featuring a new mold not otherwise seen from Pickleball Apes, the Pulse V is the most compact and control-oriented paddle within this family that is already keen on emphasizing precision. If you’re a fan of touch and finesse shots, then this Pulse V likely will be the most appealing option within the line for crafting finer points. Its 15.8 inch length is balanced nicely by its 8.1 inch width, giving you more space to roll across the ball to shape your shots. The Narrow-cell Honeycomb Core gives good responsiveness and is surrounded by a double layer of foam walls before the edge of the paddle. These reinforced foam walls not only help expand the sweet spot of the paddle, but also increase overall comfort and boost solidity through your shot. All of these internals are then bound in by a triple-layer carbon fiber ring, which makes the paddle face more structurally sound and eliminates a break-in period. On the exterior, Pickleball Apes employs a Poly Aramid Fiber Weave hitting surface to create ample spin and extended longevity. The Pulse V averages 8.2-8.4 ounces, making it accessible weight-wise for all ranges of players. The 16.5mm paddle thickness offers a great amount of control and stability. The factory-issued grip is Pickleball Apes’ “Leather Performance Grip” and is bound around a 5.5 inch handle length. Additionally, the Pulse V comes with its own paddle cover, helping to protect the paddle in transit.
