Engage Pursuit MAXX EX 6.0 Pickleball Paddle
Overview
Engage was the first company to introduce a raw carbon surface on a pickleball paddle. And with the addition of their Pursuit MAXX EX 6.0, it is obvious Engage has not rested on those laurels since, in terms of evolving paddle quality and performance. This reliable paddle boasts a 7.7-8.5 oz. range of weight, for either max maneuverability, weight based power, or a manageable blend of both. Taming the Pursuit MAXX EX 6.0’s power is its compact, and agile 16 in. length, making it ideal for absorbing pace near the kitchen, while still boasting easy backcourt power, and controllable pop on serve. Encased between Engage’s new Enhanced Friction Carbon Surface is their proven 16mm. Control Pro Black Polymer Core, which quiets the response at contact of the ball, and makes it easy for players to shape their shots and control points with spin. Surrounding the core, and broadening the already substantial sweet spot, is Engage's Vortex Barrier Edge Technology. The Pursuit MAXX paddles come standard with a 4 3/8s grip diameter, with the EX 6.0 featuring a 5 in. handle length. The larger grip complements paddle stability, and bigger hands, while the shorter handle length keeps the sweet spot closer to the hand, for a more connected feel to the ball. Whether light weight performance, or mass based power is your thing, Engage delivers the quality, value and all-court capability with the Pursuit MAXX EX 6.0.
