Overview

From Selkirk LABS, the Project 008 Tour ups the ante in terms of novelty and performance. Featuring a new innovation within the pickleball scene, the interior of the 008 paddle is almost an entirely foam construction, which eliminates the possibility of core crush, a leading factor in paddles breaking down over time. In addition to the durability benefits, the PureFoam core helps enlarge the sweet spot and also reduces vibration, boosting comfort. Further increasing forgiveness is Selkirk s thermoformed construction with an additional foam wall layer around the edges of the paddle. The Tour variation of this paddle sports a 16.45 inch overall length by a 7.5 inch width. When combined with the longer 6 inch handle, the Tour version of the 008 has the longest reach and leverage-based power access. The weight averages from 7.6 to 8.0 ounces, and the thickness of the paddle comes in a 16 mm, 13 mm and 10 mm option. The grip length comes in at 6 inches and uses a standard 4.25 inch grip size for its circumference. The T700 Raw Carbon Fiber face is durable and extremely spin-friendly, making it a great option for those utilizing lots of topspin and slices.
