Selkirk Vanguard Control Invikta Pickleball Paddle
Overview
Selkirk s Vanguard Control Invikta is the result of more than two years of R&D since the first generation of Vanguard paddles. As good as the prior model was, significant improvements were made to this latest offering. Power wise the Vanguard Control's bridge the gap between the ultra-lively Power Air and the super-control oriented LUXX family of paddles. The Control Invikta features their T700 Raw QuadCarbon surface technology, which stacks two layers of T700 Raw Carbon Fiber on each side of the paddle face for incredible spin potential, shot predictability and surface durability. Another upgrade relates to the 16mm X5+ Polypropylene Core, which adds some put-away power to the equation and is derivative of their Project 006 paddles. Together, both technologies provide supreme comfort, a lower decibel level, along with a degree of precision that green lights full cuts from the baseline, while allowing players to check-mate even the most ardent dink artists near the kitchen. Relative to the shorter Epic and S2 shapes, the Vanguard Control Invikta affords extra reach, and power due to its 16.5-inch length. Speaking of length, this Invikta now comes with a 5.5-inch long handle, which accommodates the two handed swing style, along with an octagonal shape for a premium feel and effortless grip changes in the heat of battle. This high performance paddle is available in a weight range from 7.3 8.1 ounces, making the Selkirk Vanguard Control Invikta a go-to paddle for novices and advanced players alike!
