Signature GEL Cushioning remains intact allowing for excellent shock absorption, while the durable AHARPLUS rubber outsole is formed into a modified herringbone pattern, for maximum traction and durability on a variety of court surfaces.

On me.I have been wearing these shoes for some time now. They're great. Unfortunately this pair turned out to be to big. At first I thought it was in my head since they are marked 10 1/2. So I told myself to get over it and wore them a few times. Finally I got out the measuring tape and they were indeed to big. I wore them so they're mine now. So that's on me. Just check the size. Other wise great shoes and great company.
Good fit, good valueI’ve purchased a previous version of this shoe and liked the fit. So I purchased two more of this shoe and the fit is as I expected. The price was good compared to other more expensive ones.
Decent shoesYou get what you get for the price. They are lower price and lower quality than the Gel Res family but they will get the job done. I think there are better options that are just a little bit more expensive

Good quality for the priceFor the low price point of this shoe, the quality is amazing. The grip and sturdiness of the shoe is something to definitely something to be sought after. It supports your heel well and it is easy to make quick changes in direction. However, there are some downsides. The shoe has a certain fit and if not tried on before your purchase you might encounter some slippage that can lead to blisters on the bottom of your feet. The shoe is also on the heavier side and I found pain in the arch of my feet after playing.
Slightly narrowI have worn Asics tennis shoes for years. The 14 with the higher later support edge made the show uncomfortable for me as it felt slightly narrow due to the higher lateral edge support.

Light and Good control shoesThe Asics Gel Challenger 14 in White/Saxon Green is a solid choice for tennis players looking for a balance of comfort, stability, and durability. The Gel cushioning in the forefoot and rearfoot provides excellent shock absorption, making it great for long matches.
Very Narrow ShoesI have worn shoes from adidas, Wilson and other brands over my years of playing tennis, however I was looking for a very good shoe with excellent comfort and durability for my next shoe. I read many reviews about how good the ASICS Gel Challenger 14 were, however when I bought them and started to wear them around the house for a few days, they literally hurt the outside of my feet. I do not have wide feet and never bought a pair other than normal width shoes. These were by far the tightest shoes I have ever worn… I sent them back.
