Comfort, cushion, and stability at a great price.

Comfort and flexibility within the stability family of Asics shoes, the Gel Dedicate 8 is not only a great value, but offers supportive comfort out of the box. As a more valuable option in the stability family of shoes from Asics, under the Gel Resolution and Gel Challenger, this shoe offers plenty of cushioning with the signature GEL technology in the midsole. The upper is breathable and supportive, combining mesh and synthetic leather, while the Trusstic system in the midfoot gives stability for lateral cuts. Asics high abrasion rubber on the outsole is formed into a multi-directional pattern for traction and durability on a variety of court surfaces.

  • Upper: Synthetic leather and mesh combine for flexible comfort and breathability
  • Midsole: EVA midsole with GEL cushioning for a plush feel, and support.
  • Outsole: Asics High Abrasion Rubber compound in a multi directional pattern, for traction and durability on a variety of surfaces.
  • Color: White / Midnight / Dark Green

Nice ShoeI'm very happy with this shoe and it feels great on the court. It definitely fits snug and I don't think I could have fit in a standard width, but they are comfortable once on and perform well on the court.

Where is the Arch SupportIt's 2025, where is the arch support in these shoes? Oh I have to get new insoles at the big box store? Not for me not again. if I'm charging around a tennis court I need arch support. the insole of these shoes is as flat as a kitchen table.

Love these shoesI play competitive pickleball in Florida 5-6 days a week and these are the only shoes I wear. Were difficult to find and even asics didn’t have them. Was happy to find them here for a great price. Super fast delivery too. Thanks.

Good tennis shoe for the priceI was looking for a reliable tennis shoe for hard-court tennis and pickleball play that was also reasonably priced. In the past I had always used a pair of Brooks Ghosts (not tennis shoes) that had completed their 400 mile tour of duty but still had enough tread to serve as tennis shoes. The problem is they are really not designed for the lateral forces experienced when you run around on court. The Asics were available in 2E which my wide feet require. They run narrower than the Brooks, but within two weeks they adequately adjusted to my feet - not as comfy as the Ghosts, but perfectly acceptable. The biggest difference I noticed was in comfort. Even a pair of ghosts with 500+ miles of wear have better cushioning. The Asics are not uncomfortable, just not well cushioned. On the other hand, their grip is outstanding. Also, the lower toe-drop makes it very easy to move in any direction you need to go. Running shoes are optimized for straight-line motion, the Asics feel great for all-round motion and change of direction. Several reviews said the sole was not durable, but so far I have been very pleased. In over a month of fairly steady play - at least 6 hours of hard court tennis per week - I see no serious wear. Time will tell, but it would be great to get a full season of wear. My only concern is that the uppers do not feel very sturdy. The comparison with my trusted Ghosts is unfair as that shoe is almost twice the price, but again, time will tell. Overall, I am very satisfied with how the shoe has performed thus far. A little improvement in cushioning and sturdier build would help, but it seems to be fair value for the price.

Good shoe/great priceI am a standard 4.0 -Not fleet of foot so I appreciate the lower weight -I have high arches and have had foot problems, this shoe has support in the arch and perimeter. -Durability seems on par with the Dedi X that I have traditionally worn. But, I have only had these for two months. I am also not too hard on shoes (i.e. I do not rip through the soles or toe box.)
