Designed to be the ultimate lightweight performance shoe, the Asics Solution Speed FF 3 provides a special blend of speed, stability, and comfort for players who run down every ball. Since the inception of the Solution Speed, comfort, lightness, and flexibility have been key elements of its design. With this 6th generation of the Solution Speed Asics re-engineers the Speedtruss system, which enhances flexibility and speed, while giving you stability to change directions with full force. The new uppers consist of woven mesh for a lighter and more comfortable feel, while also improving breathability. Also new for this update is Asics' Precision-Sole outsole made to grip the court when you need it to, and flex smoothly as you sprint all over the court!
- Upper: Engineered woven mesh for a lighter feel and improved comfort (previous version had more TPU). PGUARD technology protects toe-drag damage, and added protection on the medial side.
- Midsole: FLYTEFOAM cushioning is responsive comfortable. FLYTEFOAM PROPEL helps with heel to toe transition for a speedier feel when pushing off. Speedtruss improves flexibilty, and helps stabilize feet during intense transitions.
- Outsole: High Abrasion Rubber with Preciosion-Sole technology. Innovative outsole design maximizes grip and flexibilty, but also allows hardcourt sliders to go full speed into stops for controlled, smooth braking.

Overall Happy With ThemAlmost every toe had blood under the nail. One nail came off. I was desperate for shoes that would protect my toes during forward hard start/stops toward the net. Together with Toe Bumper socks, these shoes seem to be helping prevent further injury. Shoes fit comfortable, and design for that type of motion seems to be effective. Using the top shoestring hole, I developed abrasions on the inside ankle region from the shoe, and had to leave the top string hole unused to alleviate. If not for that down part of shoe design, I would have rated a 5.
Fast. Supportive. Fun!Great all around shoe with more lateral support than I thought it would have. The shoe is slightly more narrow than expected but still remains very planted when making quick direction changes. Break in required, but nothing out of the ordinary. Very fun shoe to play tennis or pickleball in!
FastThe Solution Speed FF3 is light, supportive, and is one of the few performance court shoes that feel like they’re part of your body. I’d love to rate them 5 stars, but they are a little narrow in the toe box compared to other Asics I’ve owned over the years.
Similar to prior gel solution speedsGot as replacement shoes for the gel solution speeds which I wore for many years. These feel similar. More of a running shoe type fit which I personally like with narrow feel both in the foot and toe box. Compared to the gel resolution I liked that they felt lighter, more snug/less "boxy".
Lightweight and breathable, not super stableIt’s a good shoe that is perfect for summer weather. It’s not heavy and dense like others - it’s light and breathable. Good construction and materials, feels high quality. Lives up to the speed name.
Two problems with it are: 1. It’s not as stable for baseline players compared to other shoes. 2. The shoelaces are somewhat thin and look flimsy.
If are between sizes and/or wear thick tennis socks get the 0.5 above your regular shoe size.
Solution Speed FF 3I came from the Gel Resolution 10 and they felt like bricks on my feet and were painful, the Solution Speed FF 3 is extremely comfortable, stable, and durable where they need to be. If you are looking for a replacement for the Gel Resolution 9 these might be a great option.
An excellent tennis shoeAfter years of using Babolat tennis shoes, I must say, the Asics Solution Speed FF3 is an excellent shoe. Its combination of speed, cushion and support is great for my game as a former basketball player that craves speed, comfort and support. These are so light and comfortable that you forget you're wearing shoes sometimes. The only drawbacks are that the tongue slides over during play, and despite the very solid traction, I find myself slipping when I get pulled out wide for shots and need to come out of the corners to recover. The shoe catches itself well enough, which doesn't make this a dealbreaker. I got the orange colorway, which is an eye-catcher, and much louder on foot than you'd think. I wish I'd gotten to these sooner to enjoy other colorways, but I'd definitely buy multiple pairs of these.
Looks great, BUT uncomfortableUsed it for a week, my toes, ankles arch are killing me. Show is too narrow and I feel like I’m going to tip over just standing up.
