Ultimate support, durability, with added comfort compared to previous versions.

Taking the support, and stability that the Propulse is known for, this update to the Babolat Propulse Fury 3 AC improves upon the cushioning, and adds even more durability. With an increase of EVA foam in the midsole, in addition to the Ortholite comfort foam insoles, our playtesters found a more comfortable and plush ride underneath the foot. A reinforcement plate has been added to the shank, while the 360 degree fit helps to secure the foot in place. The medial side of the upper has added protection and the Lace-in system keeps the laces from being exposed to dragging. The outsole features Michelin's premium rubber formula, to maximize durability and traction on all court surfaces, specifically hard courts. Backed by a six month outsole durability guarantee.

  • Upper: Power Belt technology locks in the heel and midfoot with an external shell for exceptional stability. Synthetic materials and mesh combine for lightweight comfort, and support.
  • Midsole: EVA midsole has been increased from previous versions, for good cushioning, support and responsiveness under foot. Reinforcement plate improves stability for powerful movements. KPRS-X gives a plush ride, with increased shock absorption.
  • Outsole: Michelin's premium rubber formula, with dense zones in high wear regions, and less density in strategic areas to cut down on weight. Durability and traction on a variety of surfaces, specifically hard courts. Backed by a six month outsole durability guarantee.
  • Color: Grey / White

REALLY DISAPPOINTEDCheap laces in these shoes lasted 3 days. Went right thru 2 pairs of paracord 550 laces after that and waiting on Kevlar laces to see if they will quit falling apart. Have had six pairs of exact shoes (3 because of shoe warranty) and laces have recently gone to crap. Possible it is the plastic row that laces are being thread thru?. $35 on laces within a month is ridiculous. Emailed Babolat they say tying shoes too tight. Not it, he slides them on and off. They blew it off. REALLY DISAPPOINTED

Great shoe.My son is a 14 year old tournament player. He loves them. Comfortable, supportive, durable, and cool looking.

Turned out to be really nice!At first I thought I disliked them because their was heel slippage of a high amount, but then I found the extra lace hole tucked under the side flap. They play great now, the only problem which is very minor, the shoelace is far too small, I have to perfectly tie my lace or I need to do it over since there is not much to work with.

Very Nice and Comfortable ShoeI had plantar fasciitis and am recovering fast. This is a very comfortable shoe for that for its cushioning and heel support. I have tried almost all the primary shoes pf every brand. This is the best.

Strange constructionMostly a nice shoe but really strange arrangement for the lacing - I wanted to like this shoe but besides being slightly narrow for my foot, I had to send it back - the lacing construction is something designed by ??? and would quickly drive me completely nuts.

Likely great performance, not my fitLet me say first: I'm not a common fit. Like some, I seem to need width in the toe box on the outside of my big toe. I'm also now wearing orthotics which take up some of the height-space in shoes. So, in spite of my craving for top performance models, the way many of them are tapered down at the toebox excludes me from wearing them. I've gradually learned not to blame the shoes - as I sense some do - if they don't fit my foot. Babolat's SFX EVO was such a good fit for me, I thought I'd try Propulse Fury 3 based on review and comments about generous width in forefoot. Hopes were to go up a notch in performance over SFX EVO. Wore them around the house a couple of sessions. They are roomier in forefoot than many top models, but, they weren't my fit, as my big toe was rubbing against the side of the toe box. Pro's: The footbed is very supportive, there's a lot of tread. The upper does have that nice flexible plastic overlay on top of the fabric, supportive but not stiff. The sockliner has some firmness for support, more than a cushiony after-thought. Felt like this would be a stout, supportive shoe similar to Barricades of old. Cons: stout footbed + orthotic made for a stiff step, but that may break in. Like others have mentioned, the lacing system did puzzle me, particularly the lace loops on the medial half of the shoe. It looks like a strip of tough fabric stitched into the side of the shoe. Concerned that, with repeated tension on the loops in this strip, the strip or the holes may break. Also, the loops are covered up, so difficult to grab and adjust, and difficult to manage a runner's knot to lock in the heel. All in all, probably a gem of a supportive and durable shoe, with awkward lacing. Just not my fit on the side of the toebox.

Not impressedI usually wear Prince T22, but they have discontinued my size :( So this shoe looked interesting and it came in my size (14.0). I like the bottom's which is very important playing tennis & pickleball. Doesn't have the stopping power of the T22. Do not like the design were the laces on one side are under the plastic protector.

Shoe reviewCame back to Babolat shoe after my last purchase of another brand did not work out. In general the shoe is fine, however I don't like the flat laces nor the lacing pattern. Have to work at getting the right lace to tighten. Not sure would buy again.

BoatsThis fit gigantically wide. Great shoe if you want a wider shoe but I had to send mine back.

Great shoesComing from the Original Barricade's that took a week to break in, Solecourt Boosts which were amazing but now discontinued, ASICS Gel Resolution 7 which fit great but looked awful, ASICS Gel resolution 8 and 9 wide which gave me calluses on my pinky toe knuckle, and Babolat AC, settled on the Propulse Fury. The shoe fits great for my wide feet. They feel fine moving around the court but can get tricky when I’m moving from an extreme position to another because the shoe lets my foot move a bit in extreme side-to-side. The lacing system is a bit weird and it’s a bit tricky figuring out the best way to get a horizontal cross when everything is slanted. Especially when I use a runner’s knot to keep my heel secure in my shoe. The shoe looks good and it stays clean even though I run everywhere off the beaten path. After 3 months of play, I’m seeing the bottom of my shoe wear down but with a thick sole, I don’t see myself poking a hole anytime soon. I’m not a singles player so take this part of the review with a grain of salt. I’m very satisfied with the shoe despite a few quirks to it. I’ll keep testing new shoes to hopefully keep my foot super secure but after so many different shoes, I’ll gladly stick to this one.

Great except…Overall the shoe is wonderful. Will definitely buy it again. The only issue I have is there is a design element on the shoe that rests against my knuckle on my big toe. It’s a plastic design element and it is solid. It rubs the knuckle. I wish it wasn’t there.

Best Shoe of 2023?I would like to nominate a shoe for your next TOP 5 list - the BABOLAT PROPULSE FURY 3. I have tried all the top five shoes on this list, and I have to say, these are pretty sweet! They are very well balanced shoe with great stability. A nice performing shoe all around. Cushioning is good, fit is medium, maybe a smidge generous compared to something like a Barricade. This shoe is a better performing shoe all-around to the Asics Court FF3, the Asics Resolution 9, the Adidas Barricade, or any Nike shoe made today. It feels a bit like a Diadora Blushield shoe in terms of cushion but like a Barricade in terms of stability. Closest shoe I can think of to compare it to might be the Diadora B.Icon - which is high praise in my book. I just got my pair, but so far, I like it a lot. Definitely a shoe to try out. Could be the best shoe of 2023!
