Overview

Relative to the Warrior's thicker 19mm. core, the Warrior Edge is paired with a 16mm. core that boosts power, while still maintaining a high degree of precision. Diadem's Aero Guard Channel is yet another refinement, improving this paddle's level of maneuverability, which is handy for quick resets and blocking shots. The Etched Carbon Fiber face is friction based, for long-lasting spin production, and incredible ball control. Its single ply core of dense Polymer Honeycomb material dampens vibration, for increased comfort and also heightens shot accuracy. Power is mainly supplied by the Warrior Edge's ample 8.0 oz. weight and 16.4 in. overall length, which complements ground-stroke effectiveness, and those players who like to tactically roll the ball with topspin at netDialing in the quality, long term comfort, and perspiration control is Diadem's Comfort Max grip, which is wrapped around a 5 in. handle length, and 4.125 in. grip diameter. Players wanting an attractive paddle aesthetic, combined with podium owning performance, will not be denied with the Diadem Warrior Edge.

Decent PaddleAt this point, there are just better options for your money. I played with this for six months and it was a big upgrade to my first paddle but I wouldn't recommend it for many players. Slightly smaller sweet spot relative to the many thermoformed paddles out there and it's extremely muted feeling to hit. Some people like this, for me I had no feedback when I was hitting it off center. Average power, good control but not if you're missing the sweet spot.

Didn't work for meAlthough this paddle was great from the back line -- I barely had to tap the ball to get it over the net -- it felt like a block of wood at the net. Heavy and awkward, difficult to maneuver quickly.

Found the paddle capable of every shot!I've tried so many different paddles: Franklin Ben Johns, JOOLA, Selkirk, Amasport. Only Diadem Warrior Edge is capable of everything: singles and doubles, very aggressive powerful game and extremely precise touch and feel play. Agree with the reviewers, this paddle is very muted and I ended up adding 3g of tungsten at 12 o'clock. To juice it up a little and to have slightly more responsive feel. On a wishlist for the next generation. I'd like to have slightly longer handle and maybe rounded top. I will probably need an adjustment period after using JOOLA for a while.

Best Feel of any PaddleI played with it yesterday for the first time. I have all kinds of paddles but none feel as good as this one. Powerful spin and no matter how fast a drive is hit at it, it is soft and defends the drive. Best paddle to date I have played with.
