Comfortable, stable, and durable. This 2nd version of Torneo features a new multi-density insole for added cushion.
The Diadora Blushield Torneo 2 is the most stable, and durable option in Diadora's lineup. With that in mind it does not skimp on comfort, with this second edition featuring Diadora's DNATTIVO insole, which adds to the plush feel underfoot. The D-Skin upper material hugs the foot uniformly to help maximize the support, combining air mesh with a net skin on top for ventilation and durability. A light EVA foam in the midsole helps to cut down on weight while Blushield technology gives exceptional energy return and shock absorption. The CCB medial stabilizer locks down the foot when changing directions, and the outsole is equipped with the Duratech 5000 rubber compound, providing a high level of wear resistance, and plenty of traction on a variety of court surfaces.
- Upper: D-Skin technology encompasses Air Mesh for ventilation, with Net Skin on top to hug the foot with support. Suprelltech for added comfort and stability.
- Midsole: Lightweight EVA foam for underfoot cushioning. Blushield technology offers layers of cushioning which also supports your foot within the shoe. DNATTIVO insole sits on top of the midsole, which is a unique multi-density insole to enhance comfort, and increases moisture absorption.
- Outsole: Duratech 5000 rubber compound in a modified herringbone pattern for optimal traction and durability on all court surfaces.
- Color: White / Blue

Love itI like em
Pretty Good, Not GreatStandard width is already pretty roomy in width (true to length, however). I had to cinch the laces too much - the lace loop material makes it worse because they stretch over time. The forefoot is quite stable, but thought the heel portion could be wider for better stability there. I also had heel slippage that never fully went away. The cushioning is pretty good, but felt that it bottomed out pretty fast. Outsole is very durable.

Toe box was redesigned on this year's modelThe toe box was very tight on my foot and the shoe runs small now. Even going up a half size, the toe box felt like someone was standing on my big toe nails. I understand that the shoe is available in a wide fit, but neither the store nor the distributor had any in wide. I have really liked Diadora shoes since 2018, but these new toe boxes are not for a middle aged foot but more well suited for a young demographic. Diadora, don't forget about us old guys...
Best for Heel TroubleI threw away a bunch of shoes until I bought this one. It helps my heel like no other.
clown shoesNOT. GOOD. Felt clunky and awkward. like wearing galoshes on the court. So glad to have a much better upgrade, Diadora Men's Speed Blushield Fly 3.
Comfortable but not functional. After having worn Diadoras for many years I found this model comfortable to put on your feet but as soon as you started to move around in any capacity for tennis, the shoes were not functional. They felt heavy, gloppy, and with minimal to no quick court feel. I have always preferred a tennis shoe that while competitively playing I would not have to be aware of and be consciously thinking about how a shoe feels. Would recommend a different Diadora shoe.
