Bootie constructed upper delivers glove-like support and comfort, and these shoes feature a carbon fiber plated midsole; think explosive first step!

Designed to meet the needs of professional players, the KSwiss Hypercourt Pinnacle provides explosive energy return and the support needed to move with confidence. There is a unique carbon fiber plate within the midsole that was engineered for tennis-specific movements, and adds explosive energy as you push-off towards the next shot. A bootie constructed upper delivers a glove-like fit and feel, and is reinforced with Durawrap X for drag protection around the toes. The mid-foot is reinforced with a lateral support chassis that is combined with a carbon plate, delivering a stable ride even under the pressure of aggressive lateral cuts. Underneath your feet lies two layers of foam; the top layer is Shock Spring for a responsive feel, and the bottom layer features Surgelite for comfort and plushness. Dragguard 7.0 rubber compound comprises the outsole to supply long lasting traction; although best suited for hard courts, it will also deliver quality performance on a variety of court surfaces.

  • Upper: Bootie construction for glove-like comfort. Highly breathable mesh for easy airflow, and Dragguard protection around the toes. X-Cinch strap for a secure fit and lock-down type of support.
  • Midsole: CRBN Plate for explosive energy return. Dual layer foam consisting of Shock Spring for a responsive feel, and Surgelite for comfort and plushness.
  • Outsole: Dragguard 7.0 rubber compound in a modified herringbone tread pattern, for long-lasting traction that is ideal for hard courts, but performs well on a variety of court surfaces.
  • Color: White / Pink

These aren’t your dad’s D-Rings!K-Swiss in the 21st century has been simply dominant with their Hypercourt Express line. Both versions have been the brand’s hallmark shoe for nearly all levels of play. With the Pinnacle, it’s clear they’ve sought to create a new benchmark. With up to the minute design cues such as the elastomer booty for an enveloping fit without making it feel clunky. Also new is an innovative carbon midfoot shank for added stability and energy return. Even the Pinnacle’s contemporary design and material elements such as the sturdy yet breathable mesh placement really makes this a standout for those looking for a step up from their Hypercourt series whilst maintaining their hallmark generous fit and comfort. On court, these felt initially firmer and did require a little break in. It didn’t take but a few rallies to notice the comfort and cushioning of the shoe. Moderately firm but in the best way possible. The improved stability and support gives the wearer an added sense of security and freedom to move more aggressively. Durability seems to be at least on par with its competition, principally the Asics Court FF3. All in all, a solid addition to the K-Swiss stable.

Best Kswiss shoe yet!!I’ve been wearing Kswiss shoes exclusively on court for a decade or so now. The pinnacle basically blended all of my favorite features from previous shoes; I love the bootie feature, incredible stability and the mesh makes it breathable. Also not too many plastic parts unlike the new Ultrashot 4’s which really disappointed me. I loved the Ultrashot 3’s… If you can afford $180 for a pair of tennis shoes they’re amazing!!
