Tested by pro players and made to hold up with durability, stability, and most importantly the comfort for the long rallies.
Taking the high level of support and comfort that has been trusted by Kswiss's pro tour players, the KSwiss Ultrashot 4 has an even more stable foundation, and plusher cushioning than before. An all new 360 degree plantar support chassis has been added to supply a stable feel on court, that competitive players need when pushing-off and changing directions. The midsole cushioning is equipped with even more bounce and energy return, which helps players like Frances Tiafoe move with power and explosiveness! Our playtest team has always been a fan of the comfort of the Ultrashot line, however these shoes haven't always been the most breathable, and with this 4th edition KSwiss maintains the support and adds a lot of ventilation. The combination of Aosta 7.0 rubber and Dragguard 7.0 in high wear zones will provide the durability needed for players who put in the hours, and the traction is ideal for hard courts, but can perform well on a variety of surfaces.
- Upper: DuraMesh and DuraPrint combine for comfort, support, and a high level of breathability.
- Midsole: Surge 7.0 cushioning feels plush for increased comfort. Shock Frame molded TPU under the heel for shock absorption and support. 360 Plantar Support Chassis for mid-foot and heel stability.
- Outsole: Aosta 7.0 durable rubber outsole in a multi-directional herringbone pattern; Dragguard 7.0 thicker rubber in high wear regions, to help extend the life of the outsole. Traction and durability is ideal for hardcourts, but can perform on a variety of court surfaces. Backed by a 6-month outsole durability guarantee.
- Color: White / Black / Red

Customer Reviews
Comfortable but not durableMy son normally goes through a durability shoe in 2-3 months. He was through the outsole of this shoe in 2 weeks. He said the shoe was really comfortable.
Heavy, low cushioningThese shoes are very heavy. Bought based on FDZ YouTube review, certainly not cushioned like he says.
Almost a great shoe, durability is an issueI love these shoes. It's a great design and a lot of different features with them. But after a little more than a month, I can tell that durability is a major issue. The bottom shock frame TPU is already getting pretty banged up. My left heal is scratched up. The right heal is actually cracked. The outer sole is almost wearing out to the midsole. Thankfully these shoes have a durability guarantee, but if these shoes only last 2-2.5 months, I might actually go through 2 of these pairs in less than 6 months. Yikes!
Durability is garbageThe durability of these shoes was horrendous. Outsole wore out within 6 weeks.
I’ve had multiple pairs of the Ultrashot 3’s and never had this issue. It is really a major step backwards for this line. I’m pretty disappointed in K-Swiss with this offering.
THEY ADDED PLASTICI have about 10 pairs of the previous generation but I won't be buying this one because they added a bunch of plastic and it's way stiffer.
No DurabilityI've been struggling to find a durable shoe I like, and was optimistic about the KSwiss Ultrashot 4, but my search continues. I initially got these because my Wilson Pro Rush 4.5s only lasted about three and a half months, so I returned those under the durability guarantee and got these since the Wilsons were not in stock at the time. They took a few hours to break in, which I am okay with, and they felt great after that period. However, I wore through the first layer of the outsole in two to three weeks just inside my big toe. Two weeks later, if that, I've now worn through to the insole. For perspective, I do play a lot, about 15-20 hours a week, but other durability guaranteed shoes I've tried are Wilson Pro Rush 4.5s, Asics Gel Resolution 9s, and adidas Barricade 13s, which all lasted much longer, 4 to 5 weeks longer at least. I'm afraid I can't recommend these and suggest you try something else.
Heavy, uncomfortable, no durabilityI bought this shoe last week and I already see a hole outsole. When I first got this shoe, it was so HEAVY and hurt my toes. It took a week to break in and week to have a hole.
DO NOT BUY THIS
I wanted to like themIt's a shame but I can't fully recommend the new Ultrashots. I hadn't had the previous ones so I couldn't tell you if they've done something worse here, but I have tried a ton of different shoes because I go through them very fast (current favorites are the Mizuno Wave Enforce, Lacoste AG-LT, and the Diadora Blueshield Fly).
So what's gone right? For me, it's nice that they have a roomy forefoot. They also look pretty cool. And that's about everything that stands out. I guess there's also the warranty, which leads me to...
The downsides! For one, they are some of the least durable shoes I've ever had, at least for the inner top parts of the outsole. I tore through those in two weeks and it wasn't like I played 10 hours a day. Maybe 30-40 hours. It was shocking to feel myself slipping. Didn't believe it. The other downside is very foot-specific but something about the top of the front of the shoe just doesn't agree with the shape of my foot, especially on the left foot. Isn't ever an issue on any other shoe but I think it's that there's a lot of vertical roominess plus some unpadded, plasticky firmness in the front uppers. In short, it hurts to play in them. My toes have gotten all banged up too (hello ingrown toenails my old friend).
All this said, I'm still gonna get my free replacement pair and see if I can make them work. Maybe double sock or something.
Oh, and for sizing, if you're fat-footed like me you should go true-to-size (I almost always have to go a size up). They run big in both directions.
