Good shoe, absolutely horrible tongue desinIt's too bad, because I really like the shoe design, support and breath-ability, but the tongue is so poorly designed, it bunches up, creates rub on the heels, takes forever just to get it so it is seated in a way that doesn't create pain. The last generation was a much better design.

Great lightweight and super durable shoe.Absolutely love the new 6 model. Good cushioning and great comfort. Light and not bulky. Love it. The previous generation was running long but this one runs true to size at best or even a little shorter. My sports shoe size is 11.5 and this one works good. Just right but I would even prefer a little bigger. Ordered 11.0 first the same as for 5 which were roomier but 6 were pretty tight. Went through them but for the next pair ordered 11.5.

One of the best tennis shoesThis Exceed 6 is different from 5 in a much better way. More durable, stable and grippier. Don’t limit the movement and is very light. If you have good feet muscles this one is a very solid choice. Fast and great stability. I don’t have a problem with a thin tongue at all. Even like it. Easy and secure lacing. The biggest nuance with this shoe is sizing especially comparing to the Exceed 5. Previous ran large almost a size and these are kind of true to size. I always buy 11.5 for athletic shoes from Nike, New Balance, Asics and Exceed 6 would be just right in 11.5 for me. I went for 11 same as for 5 but with 6 was a little short. I went through the pair anyway. Next one will be 11.5 for sure.

Latest model has a glaring defect. The upper is a very thin mesh fabric with a textured rubbery plastic coating. Unfortunately it stretches and stretches making the shoe loose and laterally floppy. Shame on Mizuno. Avoid avoid avoid this model.

Near perfect shoeI’m a 5.0+ level player who is constantly looking for a fast shoe with a durability guarantee so I’m not going broke. I really liked the 5s but these were even better and make me feel totally comfortable moving as aggressively as I want. They remind a lot of the original ASICS Solution Speed. The only negative I have for these is the tongue is too thin and makes lacing up something you really need to play with.

No longer for wide feetHappy owner of last year's edition, the new version 6 is much narrower and no longer fits my foot. Not sure why they would drastically change the sizing. Now I have to find another shoe.
