The one-thousand series of courts shoes lives on, with the New Balance MC 1007 4E, carrying on the high level of comfort, cushioning, and breathability it is known for. The upper material provides comfort and support, making for a very plush feel around the heel and ankle region, while also being soft and breatheable on top of the toes. Amazing ShoesThese are my favorite pair of tennis shoes! I've bought them four times in a row! They're very supportive and my feet feel great even if I'm on the court for 3+ hours. I really enjoy the mobility these shoes provide, making forward-backward and side-to-side movement, and jumping a breeze. I've also worn these shoes at F45, and they hold up well in crazy HIT workouts. Great shoes! Even more amazing that Tennis Warehouse has them in 4E!

Not good if your foot is foot shapedI don't wear a wide in any other shoes, but these new balance shoes are really narrow, especially at the big toe. It's almost like the toe box is the same size as the heel.

Wide and comfortable shoeThis tennis shoe provides excellent forefoot width, accommodating wider feet without compromising stability. A great choice for players seeking both comfort and performance.

Not the 1006For me, the 1007 is not an improved 1006! Shoe seems firmer with not as much room in the toe box and it does not lock in my heel as well. Outside materials also appear to be lower quality. 2 stars because the shoe my work for some.

Fits as well as......the old 1006 in extra wide width. Super happy about that! Also, a very well-constructed and comfortable shoe.

New Balance MC 1007This is the second time I’ve purchased these shoes. Great footing for me on the pickleball court. The MC1007 also is very durable.

Be aware 1006 fans1007 is nowhere near the 1006 version. I wore 2E size 8.5, bought different sizes for my tennis buddies but do not recommend this one as a replacement for the discontinued 1006. It’s too bulky, heavy feeling with a large toe compartment that my ties were moving inside all the time. I also wear the CT Rally which now I like it better to 1007. You may want to consider CT Rally as it’s more cushioned and holds the foot better.

One of the best 4E options for players. If you have 4E feet, your pickings can be slim. These shoes not only fit well, they wear pretty evenly. I was using another brand and burned through them really quickly.

New Balance MC 1007 8.5 DBeen wearing NB 1006 but it is not available now. Trying the NB 1007 for the first time. Good support but not as comfortable as the 1006. Softer fusion.

Horrible shoe.Seems like New Balance stopped making proper shoes. The insole is uncomfortable. The tongue keeps moving to the side making the top of the shoe so uncomfortable. Shoe laces are a joke, they keep coming undone unless you triple tie them. Material seems so bulky and uncomfortable. Switched to Yonex Sonicage Plus (needed 4E) and never looked back.

Not durableI have to use 4E... this one very weak on the toe support and got a hole after two-three weeks... hope they can improve as it was not a cheap shoe

Beware Of SizingI am not near as happy with the MC1007 as I have been with the now discontinued MC1006 which I had worn for years and loved them. I have always worn a 11.5, 2E but beware, the same size in the MC1007 are a full 0.5 size larger in length and width in the toe box. My foot slips around inside of them too much. Unfortunately I have worn them a few times thinking it was the right shoe otherwise I would have returned them for a smaller size. Compared to the MC1006, the MC1007 is a bit heavier and not as flexible with the added toe guard stabilizers. But I do like the Fresh Foam insoles for comfort. I will definitely purchase a different NB shoe next time, one that is truer to my beloved MC1006.

Right shoeOrder was filled quickly and delivered to me. I have been a customer for over 30 years and have never had a problem with Tennis Warehouse. This New Balance has a great fit and feel. This is a new model for me but seems to be a great shoe.

Wider than markedThey run a width wider than marked. I use 2E width New Balance 1006, 996, and CT Rally shoes but for the 1007 I wear a D width. They felt bulky initially but I am grateful for the additional cushioning.

Fell apartBought in January size 11.5, 4E. Side split in 2-3 weeks. Replaced with voucher. New pair split in same place on both shoes in less than 6 weeks. There is obviously a flaw in design and/or manufacturing for shoes to blow out in just weeks. Not good.

Great on ClayThis tread pattern slides. The 1006 tended to dig into and stick on clay.

Deteriorates quickly.Bought this shoe twice in a size 10.0 4E. Side sole cracked where the Ndurance logo is, after a few months on the tennis court with moderate doubles play. Stitching separated at the last lace hole location. Shoe needed more arch support added. The waffle-woven fabric section is very difficult to keep clean.

Heavier, but good flat feet supportAfter I got used to the weight, I’ve found these shoes give me the best support for a flat footer. I even stopped using my knee braces. Great space in the toe box (2E).

MC 1007DI bought the MC 1007D. I am a size 11.0. They seemed a bit large compared to other size 11.0 sneakers I have worn. They are well cushioned but the fit is weird. My foot literally came out of these sneakers while moving laterally / running on the court. The heel area I think is just too wide. I am disappointed after using just a few times I need to find another shoe.

Much larger than stated sizeNice looking and well constructed, but much larger than the stated size. Larger than the 1006 it replaces.

Changes from 1006 to 1007 (4E)I have been using the 1006 for years and loved the shoe. The stability did fade after about four to six months and needed to be replaced. At first glance, the 1007 seems to have addressed the stability, but at what cost? The toe box is too narrow and hurts my big toes. Going up a half size didn’t help. I will have to use my old 1006’s until the New Balance 996 comes out with 4E in December 2023.

ChangesBeware that the shoe has changed. I had to get a half size up and I still experienced pain in both big toes. New Balance must have made the shoe more narrow. Very disappointed as I can’t find many other 4E's out there on the market.

Ugly and Hurt My FeetFresh Foam is a fresh Failure. Let me start by saying I have owned 3 pairs of the previous version, MC 1006. Those shoes have performed flawlessly. These MC 1007 shoes on the other hand are the opposite. First of all they are ugly, looking like an 90's design. The very first time using them on court, the bottom of my forefoot hurt. Mind you, I was on Rubico! I don't think I would even try them on a hard court. I do not recommend this shoe. Now I'll have to see if the 1006s are still available. FYI, I'm a 70 yo male and have been playing for 50 yrs.

Warning: Do not wear on clay courtsNot an "all Court" shoe. Playing on Har-Tru was uncontrollably slick. Works great on hard court! I ordered the 4E. Solid shoe with a LOT of width. More width than any other 4E I have purchased in a New Balance shoe.

A bad follow up to previous modelsI wore this in a 4E and they seem to have ruined the formula. Even more lightweigth in the upper, it is almost entirely lacking in any serious support structure in the upper. Too soft and flimsy it makes for less than confident footing. I liked the previous model but this one doesn't do the job.

Not the SameThis shoe is supposed to replace the 1006. It is TOTALLY different. Sole compound is much softer and thus less stability, there is an elastic wide band on the inside of each side causing pressure and discomfort. The upper design is a personal taste, but I do not find it attractive nor did I the 1006. I would NOT recommend this shoe. Buy more 1006.
