Too StiffI'm a fan of New Balance. The other two pairs I own are perfect. However, they're 5 and 8 years old now. But still holding up. Seems like a consistent theme these days. Shoes feel stiff, and not much arch support. I own many pairs from KSwiss, to Asics, Fila, Yonex, Diadora, adidas, Nike. I enjoy the comparison in the performance of each brand. Some are made better for sliding on a hard court. And some have more comfort over a long 5 hour session match. These New Balance were a little uncomfortable and seemed to cave in around the arch. Also not much flexibility. I guess if I broke them in they may have improved in comfort but I didn't have that issue with the Fresh Foam New Balance pairs I'd previously purchased. Didn't wanna be stuck with them.
Not wideThe shoes are so nice, but I was looking for wide shoes, this showed as wide on the web site, and I ordered them but I had to return them because they were not wide

DisappointingThey need to be broken in and after they are, I was disappointed that the cushioning, which New Balance is known for, is not there. I coach tennis so I needed serious cushioning which is not there with this model... But I will just use this as a walking shoe. It's useless for anything more

Overall goodPretty good shoes, still not as wide as I would like it but it’s pretty comfortable and broken. Into I’ve only had them for about a month so I can’t fully give a full review but for now pretty good
