Overview

Just in time for the last major of the year, this shoe features a limited edition deconstructed style! Comfortable, speedy and responsive, the Air Zoom Zero breaks the mold with its innovative design. The one-piece mesh upper ensures a locked-in fit while there is an angled full length Zoom Air unit underfoot for dynamic heel to toe movement allowing you to feel quicker and ready to scramble at any given moment. An integrated crash pad creates a springy feel and will allow the most aggressive of movers to slide even on hard, gritty courts. Players looking to be explosive with their movement will want to try out this new option that not only offers a high level of performance but also looks great on and off the court.

  • Upper: One-piece upper provides support and breathability in a bootie-construction for locked in fit.
  • Midsole: Angled full length Zoom Air unit for dynamic heel to toe action.
  • Outsole: Durable outsole in an innovative design with beefed up durability for aggressive movers who like to slide on the court. Integrated crash pad.
  • Color: Pure Platinum / Metallic Silver / Aluminum

Comments: These fit amazingly well for my narrow, high arched foot. However, there is a defect in the plate, I described it as a squeak and Nike doesn't do exchanges for noises. When I rock back on my serve, there's a loud squeak that it distracts.

Comments: I was so excited to try these since they look so sleek. However, they were so difficult to put on and hurt my feet.

Comments: Hands down my favorite tennis shoe that I have ever worn. I have played for many years and have struggled to find the perfect shoe, but this is it. I have a narrow heel and the built-in sock in the heel area is great for this. The shoe is super supportive as well and very comfortable. I just purchased my third pair. Might not be the best for wide feet though as there is a bridge across the upper foot that is not adjustable or very flexible.

Comments: The only shoe that works for me, I have tried, I believe, most shoes on the market. I've had plantar fasciitis, bone spur, and these keep my feet comfortable. Please keep the new fun colors coming. Never stop offering this shoe style please. If you have any feet issues, give these a try. They are so protective and supportive for the feet on the court. Pretty true to size. I wear mainly size 11 or 10.5, in women's shoes, and 10.5 in these works well.

Comments: I love the look of this shoe, but the inflexible white strap across the arch made it impossible to get on. Disappointed because it had all the features I wanted.

Comments: I love these shoes. This is my second pair, and I highly recommend them.
From: Erika, 1/2/20

Comments: I love these shoes, they are comfortable. Fit right, I have a thin foot so they are right for me. They just run little big, but I can work with that.
From: Lorena, 12/29/19

Comments: I couldn't get the shoe on, due to bootie inside, and my wide foot.
From: Tracy, 10/31/19

Comments: These are hands down the most comfortable court shoes I've ever worn. After years of foot problems, pain, and surgeries including a recent MTP joint fusion, I have found the perfect shoe. Enough stiffness in the forefoot to prevent exacerbation of hallux rigidus, comfortable midsole with contoured base that allows for aggressive movement. Very light shoe with great support and comfort.

Comments: The Zoom Zeros are probably the best looking tennis shoes Nike has ever made. However, the fit is so unbearably painful that I don't think I can purchase another pair. I bought two and both fit the same. I'm a perfect size 7.5 in all Nike shoes and this was no different. I have average width and instep. The problem with this shoe is not the bootie construction, but the upper. The opening of the upper is at the vamp of the foot making it extremely difficult to slide your foot inside. The bootie is like a flexible neoprene, but the upper does not give at all. Instead it digs into the top bones of the foot. I was determined to make them fit so I put them in shoe stretchers for a week. It helped, but was still tight. I feel great while playing, except for the lack of ventilation, but have to remove them quickly. When I tried to put them back on I pulled my calf muscle. Such a shame. I'm an aggressive 4.0 mostly doubles, some singles, player who plays 3-5 times a week.

Comments: I ordered my normal tennis shoe size, but it runs big so I am waiting on a half size smaller.
From: Clare, 7/16/19

Comments: I am very happy with these shoes, they protect my feet and are very comfortable. I like playing in them. I have had plantar fasciitis and a bone spur prior to finding these shoes.

Comments: These are my new go-to shoes. I previously wore Vapors over the last 5 years and they were good, but not nearly as comfy as the Zoom Zeros. I have a super narrow heel/foot with a very low arch, so it is hard to find shoes that lock me in as well as these. I also appreciate the generous length. I'd say if you are between sizes to error on the side of sizing down. I typically wear size 8 or 8.5 and the 8 is perfect. The cushioning is amazing, but I still feel fast on the court, which is very important to me. I play 4-5 days a week and play 4.0 singles and doubles. They last me about 3 months which is realistic given how much I play. I've been wearing this model since last summer when the first pairs were launched.

Comments: I would not recommend these shoes for anyone with a high arch. It is such a banner that Nike didn't think through this case. I had to take the soles out, so the pressure from the top to my arch is not too painful.

Comments: I have had these shoes for several months now and I have really enjoyed wearing this shoe. This is the first Nike shoe I have been able to wear in years. I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel with a low arch. I have had no issue getting this shoe on my foot - loosen up the laces, hold the tab on the back, and it goes on just fine. No struggle! The shoe conforms to your foot and just as the other reviewer stated - the shoe becomes invisible. I forgot about the shoe while playing. I wear a toe spacer to help with chronic turf toe and the toe box accommodates this well. It is very supportive and I feel locked in. The shoe is light. I can move laterally without fear of rolling an ankle, the traction is excellent, and the design helps with explosive movement - reminds me a little of a volleyball shoe. I drag my toe and there is minimal wear. The shoe seems to run long. I purchased this shoe in an 8 but I think I could down to a 7.5.

Comments: These shoes fit me well. I'm a heavy set girl with somewhat wide feet. Shoes are tough to put on the first several times, then they loosen up a little. Still snug though, so I understand the complaints. It takes mental and physical effort, along with technique of wiggling the heel in while pulling on the tab at the tongue, to get them on. For me, the initial struggle is worth it. Once on, and after becoming accustomed to the shape of the heel cup and the elevated sole/heel, I forget I'm wearing them. They feel like a comfortable bootie, supportive and light. I'm a fan for now. Also, I often wear 8.5 size athletic shoes (Nike), but my normal shoe size of 8.0 was perfect for these shoes. Feels snug initially, then the shoe becomes invisible in terms of comfort.

Comments:
I was hopeful. But I was disappointed. The shoe is so difficult to put on I had to stand up and wiggle my foot back and forth over and over while using a tree horn to do it. Seriously Nike? The sock-like design makes the opening so small, that you just can't pull the shoe on. Once my foot was inside, the fit was poor. The tiny opening did not mean a snug fit. The toe box is spacious, and the shoe is wide. The shoe just does not fit my foot well at all. And for the $130 price tag, the design leaves a lot of room for improvement. I wear the Zoom Vapor now and like it a lot. I just wish they lasted longer than a few weeks. But my next shoe will not be the the Nike Court Air Zoom Zero. I wish KSWISS would bring back their Ultrascendor shoe-that was the best shoe I ever wore.

Comments: I am very hard to fit for court shoes. I tried the Vapor X and it was so loose in the toe box (even with a little wider foot) that I just didn't have the side to side speed. I just received the Court Air Zoom Zero and I love this shoe! The reviews were spot on stating people with a little wider foot might find the bootie inside the shoe snug. It is snug, but this shoe is mostly fabric, not stiff leather so everything just conforms to your feet. I also have a high instep so it took a little muscle to get it on. Once on, it is amazing. I took a few steps and it was comfortable and rather bouncy. The Air Zoom unit really makes a difference. I usually wear an 8 1/2 in Nike, but the 8 was perfect!
