The GP series lives on! With Zoom Air underfoot you will find explosive energy and a smooth ride.

Whether you are an aggressive mover craving that extra spring in your step, or a comfort seeker looking for a plush ride, fear not the Nike Zoom GP Challenge 1 PRM Shoes are here! The Nike GP Turbo was a TW playtester all-time favorite, based on the exceptional level of comfort and cushioning. This newer edition in the GP series carries on some of that comfort and bounciness, with a more streamlined and speedy profile. Explosive movers can appreciate the blend of comfort, support, and traction these shoes deliver. Key design features include forefoot and heel Zoom Air units, a mid-foot stability plate, and high abrasion rubber on the outsole that is denser in strategic locations. Adding to the overall comfort, the upper material is lightweight, breathable, and protected on the medial side of the toe-box for players who drag, while the integrated lacing system and support strap on the lateral side will keep your feet secure on those lateral cuts.

  • Upper: Synthetic and mesh material for lightweight support and easy ventilation. Rubber drag-guard on the medial side of the toe-box, and extra padding around the ankle collar for a plush feel. Integrated lacing and lateral belt help with support and lock-down.
  • Midsole: Zoom Air units located under the forefoot and heel for easy energy return and a smooth ride. Stability plate helps to resist torsional twisting of the shoes.
  • Outsole: High abrasion rubber outsole in a herringbone design; rubber is more dense on the medial forefoot high wear region, and finer tread on the lateral side for sliding enhancement.
  • Color: Deep Night (Blue / Red / White)

Nike Zoom GP Challenge 1Tennis Warehouse did a fantastic job of delivering the product in a timely manner. Shoes fit well and held up pretty well. Not too rough on a 50+ player that hasn't picked up a racquet in over 20 years. My feet were a little sore, but I blame my age, not the shoe. Will order from Tennis Warehouse again

Stable, Stylish, and Game-ReadyI picked up the Nike GP Challenge 1 in Red/Black, and they’ve quickly become my go-to tennis shoes. Fit & Comfort: The fit felt secure without being too tight out of the box. There was good arch support and room in the toe box. Break-in time was minimal. Stability: These shoes have excellent lateral support. They gave me the confidence to move aggressively without worrying about rolling an ankle. Traction: The outsole grips hard courts well—no slipping on sharp cuts or quick direction changes. Durability: After several sessions, they’re holding up better than expected. The upper still looks fresh, and the outsole shows minimal wear. Looks: The red/black colorway turns heads—sleek, aggressive, and classic Nike style. If you're looking for performance and bold style without sacrificing comfort or support, the GP Challenge 1 is worth a serious look. It's a solid value, and I’d buy it again.

DisappointingGot this looking for more support and cushioning coming from the Ubersonic. The sole unit feels like a brick. Only just started to break in after 3 weeks. Cushioning is so so, responsive but hard. The fit is weird for me. I tighten the laces but after a few minutes the shoes feels loose. I never feel really secure fit in these shoes. Ok for practice but not hard matchplay. The Vapor series is much better and stable and supportive enough.

Don't buyAvid tennis player here. USTA 4.5. Almost no cushioning and YES I actually slipped out of my left shoe. Tied it as tight as I could and still slipped. Would have dealt with how uncomfortable it was to wear...but slipping out. No heel hugging at all. I have a wide foot and it still couldn't hold my foot. There is a reason why it is on sale everywhere and no one on tour wears it.

Very ComfortableMuch better than the Nike Zoom I've had in the past. This one is very padded and comfortable. Great for tennis.

Fits smallTried the Zoom GP on sale, but couldn’t wear it more than twice. Fits smaller that Nike usually does for me. order at least a half size bigger than you normally would, the hard plastic toe box at front is unforgiving on split steps.

Solid with a good cushionI am 6' 4" and my weight is around 220 pounds. Given my age (55), I need a shoe with solid cushion as I have a tendency to develop an inflammation around the heels. My regular shoe were the Mizuno but this one is mitigating a lot of the problem. The sole consumption is reasonable as I mostly play hard surface. In general this is not the lightest shoes I have used, but it provides a very solid support for the leg.
