The Challenge Pro has a more budget friendly price-tag compared to the Challenge 1, but does not skimp on comfort or stability.

The Nike GP Challenge Pro Shoes deliver the comfort that the GP series is known for with improved stability, and a speedy feel. Featuring a wider base in the forefoot that not only provides a comfortable fit, but also helps during aggressive lateral cuts. The padded mesh upper supplies plenty of comfort and breathability, while TPU reinforcements help create a more secure feel, as well as drag protection around the toes. The EVA foam in the midsole provides good shock absorption as you transition heel to toe, while the midfoot is equipped with a stability plate to resist twisting and transfer energy as you move. Nike's high abrasion rubber in a multi-directional herringbone pattern enhances traction and is durable where you need it most.

  • Upper: Synthetic and mesh material for lightweight support and easy ventilation. Rubber drag-guard on the medial side of the toe-box, and extra padding around the ankle collar for a plush feel. Integrated lacing and lateral belt help with support and lock-down.
  • Midsole: Zoom Air unit in the heel and EVA foam in the forefoot for comfortable landings and a classic feeling cushion. Stability plate helps to resist torsional twisting of the shoes, and provides power into your step.
  • Outsole: High abrasion rubber outsole in a herringbone design; rubber is more dense on the medial forefoot high wear region, and finer tread on the lateral side for sliding enhancement.
  • Color: Smoke / Sangria

These shoes added 9 mph to my serve!Just kidding—my serve is still awful. But these shoes are so comfortable I don't even care about my serve. Super plush ride. Long time Asics fan, but the last couple pairs I had just didn't quite fit right. Tried a ton of shoes (multiple Asics, adidas, Wilson…) and finally gave these a shot and I'm very happy with them. I'm a big guy (6'4”, 235 lb, size 14 shoe) and not particularly graceful on the court, so the cushioning and support on these has been great. Fit-wise, they're definitely on the snug side in the toe box, and probably run a tiny bit small. Overall though, a great purchase and worth a look.

The Cruel ShoesAbsolutely the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve put on. I would have been better off trying to play in wingtips. Super tight. My toes were being mashed together. Not very cushioned at all. Had to check the box to make sure the size was correct. If you have issues with your feet I’d stay away from these. I don’t believe a good insert would even do much as these were too far gone for me. Would not recommend.

MI GP Chalenge ProGood looking design but it's quite narrow. Don't think that it will stretch after worn.

Nike GP Challenge ProI am disappointed. Nike must have changed the design of their shoes... and not for the better. This shoe fits too tight. It is very narrow and the insole feels like a cup/channel that doesn't allow your foot to sit down in it. I'm an open level player who moves fluently around the court. By the end of one set my feet hurt! Additionally, the sole is not durable at all. I have less than eight hours on this new pair and they have worn the tread out on the toe already.

Playing on a CloudA tennis player friend recommended these shoes. She and the TW reviews were correct. After using them for the first time at a match my feet felt better than when I started!!! Lots of support, laterally and on the heel, cushioned and comfortable beyond belief. I bought my regular size and that worked. Since we can’t “demo” shoes I will buy a pair from TW. Try it on once and from there you can tell if it’s going to work well. These did just that! (Back in the day, when I had a tennis store near me I used to try on there, find the best shoes and then buy from Tennis Warehouse!)

Keeps getting betterWearing these for hard court singles and doubles 2-3 times per week. At first, felt a little tight in the toe box, but the shoe definitely relaxed after a few wears and now they fit perfectly. Would absolutely buy again.

Great protection and nice cushion for hardWell made shoes that are not the lightest in weight but these fit snug and seem to have good protection all around. Cushion feels much better than my previous pair of Asics. These do run half a size small.

Supportive but not too heavyI like how these shoes protect my feet well, especially on hard court. They feel secure on my foot and are easy to move quickly in. My plantar fasciitis has improved from wearing this shoe. They run a bit small.

Nike GP Challenge Pro Black/White Men's ShoesThese shoes are crazy small and narrow. I ordered my usual size, 11.5, and I don't think a size 12.0 would fit correctly. Don't waste time with these shoes.

The impossible happenedHard to believe but Nike finally builds shoes that are more wide than their usual narrow/ super tight previous models... I will be buying several of these cause it may be years before they do it again...

RUNS EXTREMELY SMALLI thought TW shipped me women's shoes! They feel at least 2 sizes too small. Was very excited to see Nike was finally offering a wider toe box but not sure what happened to the length on these. Did not get to try on the court.
