Nike has kept what you loved about the previous Vapor Pro and added an Air Zoom unit in the forefoot for a great match day shoe; now available in a WIDE fit

Nike makes slight tweaks to make the Air Zoom Vapor Pro 2 WIDE one of the most popular match day shoes for players of all levels! Now with an Air Zoom unit in the forefoot for more cushioning underfoot and a springy feel, the upper of this shoe will feel familiar as the entry remains the same and the stretchy internal sleeve paired with mesh offers breathable, light support.

Note: While this is the WIDE version, our testers still find them to be about medium in width

  • Upper: Stretchy internal sleeve and mesh for 2 layers of support; breathable. Asymmetrical lacing hugs feet during lateral movements.
  • Midsole: Air Zoom unit in forefoot and soft foam midsole for responsive cushioning and a low to the ground feel. Full-length foot frame on lateral side adds stability.
  • Outsole: Generative design for traction when changing direction; thicker tread in high-wear zones.
  • Color: Black / White

Great shoes, little break-in time.I have really liked these shoes so far and they are super cute! I gave them 4 stars only because they are a bit low cut for me and compared to other Nike court shoes I have. If you want a higher cut, easy break in, go with the Challenge Pro. Otherwise these are a good solid shoe.

Not for meI've been wearing Vapor Pro 2 for the last year or so and really liked that shoe. I find them springy under the forefoot and helps me move quickly. I use my own insole, which is a must because the Nike ones go flat quickly. Lately I've been playing so much that my feet started to get really sore, so I went looking for a softer cushioned shoe. These are more cushioned, no problem there. I do feel like I sink into the shoe more, where the Vapor 2 kept me more on the forefoot if that makes sense. But these are too wide for my normal/medium width foot. I have to really tighten the laces to lock my foot in, but when I do, I lose circulation to half my foot, causing it to go numb. This happens to both feet. So then I am constantly messing with the shoe to get the right fit and feel and never really feel like it's right. So not the shoe for me. If you have wide feet, you might like these.

Not the bestI tried these shoes on when they arrived and they felt like they fit. However, when I played with them for the first time my foot was immediately moving around no matter how I tied them. Unfortunately I cannot return them since they’ve been worn, and I would not recommend them- very uncomfortable.

Lose the charmThe charm is a cute idea but it was literally dragging around the court during the first set. I would take it off out of the box.

A much comfortable version of Nike Vapor ProI have a pair of the regular version of Nike Vapor Pro but can't wear them because the toe box is too narrow. This wide version is so comfortable! I wish Nike would produce wide Vapor Pro in other colors.

Bad- horrible shoe design - snapped both ankles multiple times with these on - the first pair was ok, and then the second one just started snapping my ankles - the problem isn't the ankle support; it is the design: the outside edges of the shoe are too sharp, and when you slide or slightly land at an edge, your foot just rolls outwards.

Awful Tennis ShoesI was very excited to see Nike had put out a new "wide" shoe. I used to wear the Vapor Cage 4 with the wide toe box but they discontinued making them for women (while still making them for men in a very sexist move and printing "RAFA" on the back of each one making them just hideous). I wore these to team clinic last night. At first, they went on comfortably but as soon as I stepped onto the court, I knew there was going to be an issue. First, they were a little long. I did not feel secure. I tightened the laces and immediately was in horrible pain. I loosened the laces and went about practice. I felt awkward the entire clinic and in the last 5 minutes, I fell (albeit quite gracefully) to the ground. I cursed these shoes and returned them this morning. I'll stick to the Wilson wide Rush Pro Ace. They are much more comfortable.

These are VERY narrow! While these are attractive shoes, they are definitely NOT WIDE and are more narrow than most medium-width shoes. These almost wouldn't qualify as medium width. The ivory ones were even more narrow.
