Updated with the help of Roger Federer, this 2nd version will offer better durability while feeling quicker on the court!

Utilizing Roger Federer to help with this update, the ON The Roger Pro 2 provides best in class performance with updated durability for tennis players of all levels. The upper mesh is lighter and more breathable while offering support and durability while the molded heel counter keeps your feet locked down for confidence when moving. High performance foam and a carbon fiber Speedboard offers comfort and response while the updated outsole provides better traction and durability compared to the original version of these shoes. While we can't guarantee you will move as smooth and gracefully as the Swiss Maestro, we certainly think this is a good place to start!

  • Upper: Ultra-light, abrasion resistant mesh provides support and breathability; perforated tongue; half-bootie entry for added lockdown
  • Midsole: Carbon fiber Speedboard combines with high performance midsole for comfort, shock absorption and energy return
  • Outsole: Updated durability and traction from the rubber compound in a pattern designed to optimize traction and allow for sliding on the hard courts
  • Color: White / Black

Great ShoeI play a lot of tennis in TX. This shoe lasts and my heels and arches do not ache after being on the court. The shoe does run a little small. I usually get a size 7 but sized up to a 7.5.

very nice design, very hard to play tennisvery different to the running models, this is very hard and they hurt my two little toes. My recommendation is not positive

MUST HAVE NARROW FEETLove these; they are adorable and really grippy/supportive. However, if you don't have narrow feet, they will kill your feet.

Comfortable but not DurableI agree with the previous comments about the soles wearing out. My "go-to" shoe previously was the New Balance 1006 as it was breathable, light, durable and wearable right out of the box. Unfortunately New Balance discontinued this model and I am in search of a new favorite. (I will no longer purchase Adidas due to their lack of honoring the 6 month sole guarantee.) I purchased these shoes based upon a friend's recommendation regarding their comfort, however have found that the tread on the sole has already worn smooth after a couple of months. I play 2-4 times a week and have rotate the shoes worn throughout the week.

On the right trackThis tennis shoe is on the right track. It could be a great shoe with some tweaking for women. The fit is fantastic and the shoe stays in place. It’s well made and very sturdy. Now the downside, the shoe is very heavy and the ball of the foot area is wide. This leads to tripping and stumbling. The shoe also gets very hot in summer months depending on where you live. The shoe also wears out quickly. I really wanted to like these shoes. I will not be buying another pair until these issues are addressed.

Comfy but sole wears out quicklyComfy, except for the tongue which is too high and can be annoyingly in the way when tying. The sole wore out in about a month, which is ridiculous for how expensive this shoe is.

Almost there…There’s so much that’s really good about this shoe. The hard sole protects the foot better than any other court shoe I’ve tried. All of the materials that are used to make it are super, and it’s very cute and streamlined. Also love a good, classic white tennis shoe, and this one really fits the bill. In the minus column, it’s too narrow inside around the ball of the foot and there’s very little cushioning inside the shoe. If they’d fix those two issues with the next version of the shoe, it would be my new favorite court shoe. I hope On will do that. I had to return them bc of these issues, so I didn’t play in them. Finally, the front of the sole/ base of the shoe is wide like a running shoe, which made me worry about stumbling with lateral movement on the court, but if RF is putting his name on this shoe, I’ll trust that it wouldn’t be an issue. Hope to see a version 3.0 of this shoe with a few improvements soon. Our sport definitely needs better constructed chic looking shoes like these. Keep us posted, On! You’re heading in the right direction!

Heavy and Over-PronatesI wanted to love this shoe. But I do not. It is very heavy which makes me think I could easily trip on court. The heel is very wide. The shoe causes serious pronation and has lateral rims that are extremely wide. This is a man’s shoe in my opinion - that was not modified for a woman’s foot. Heavy and very solid. Fights against speed and agility. Like wearing ankle weights. For a few positives. Very serious construction. I’m guessing this shoe will not wear out. Wide toe box which I like. Because of how heavy and sturdy it is, once you’re planted, you can whale on the ball. Looking forward to a lighter version.

the women's version is rather narrowIt fits more like general Nike shoes - narrower on the width especially near the pinky toe; compared with adidas which is wider overall and wider toe box. I was hoping that it would run a bit wider as the reviews for the men's version revealed.
