Runs smallNice looking shoe design and materials… Runs small and too flat…

Too tight too stiffSo, I generally have a narrow foot. My toes hurt like crazy in these shoes and the top of my foot feels like someone’s breaking it. I thought these were top shelf shoes, but they’re the most uncomfortable expensive shoes I’ve ever had. I typically wear prints 22.5 shoes which are inexpensive, but I’m going right back to them

MUST HAVE NARROW FEETLove these; they are adorable and really grippy/supportive. However, if you don't have narrow feet, they will kill your feet.

Love/HateLove the fit. So comfortable, but hate that the sole wears out too fast

On The Roger Pro 2I really thought this were going to be great on court, but the "plastic sides" on the widest part of the shoe are very hard, and after a few min waring them you can start feeling some pressure on your pincky toe and side of your foot. They are TOO expensive for what they give... I like the colors but I would never buy a shoe just for the colors.

So awful.Really disappointed. My first On tennis shoes, and they were all around awful. Poor cushion, support, fit, and just felt uncomfortable. It is no doubt super light, and the shoe was very plastic-like. I don't feel safe playing tennis in these.

EXCELLENT SHOEThe fit of these feel tight honesty I've been trying to break them in to see if they can be a bit wider but it's still a bit tight. Arch support my feet don't hurt at all with these. I just feel them a bit tight. Very lightweight.

HorrendousI bought these tennis shoes and I couldn’t be more disappointed. I play doubles a few times and a week and these shoes were not only uncomfortable but they hurt my ankles and hamstrings. Do not recommend.

Version 1 was better designBought for collegiate tennis player- although was hoping the increased durability of the tread would be a bonus, the shoe is much more rigid and the addition of the lateral rigid plastic piece at the side of the toe box cuts into foot with the change in design. Note this is for a narrow sized foot too. Ordering version 1 again

Great Ankle Stability & TreadDefinitely need to wear a few times for a break-in period to decrease stiffness, then the court shoes feel very comfortable and more flexible. Great stability, quality tread traction and ample cushioning. Worth the higher price!

On Tennis ShoesI absolutely love these shoes. There was no break-in period. Fit true to size. Very comfortable yet I feel secure and stable on the court. They are super attractive.

Or for meThey look good. Looks as if you’ll get more wear than the previous model. But, stiff and doesn’t breathe. Decided to return and go with older model.

Just a funny fitI love this brand, but I have to say in these I am disappointed. I ordered size 8.0 but it was a bit small, so I exchange for 8.5 but was big and not comfortable to play two to three hours. So I end up returning them. It’s the first time a shoe does not work for me because of the sizing.

Love!!!These are a nice fitting tennis shoe with all of the adequate support. They don't seem too heavy - which I'm sensitive to, and fit comfortably. The only reason I dropped a star was because I feel like they lack support in the bottom of the shoe at the heel. I'm used to Nike tennis shoes, so perhaps that's normal... The colors and style on these are fantastic!

They look and feel greatI like how I can move on them, they are a little stiff, but not in a harmful way. I love how they look but they are expensive, maybe next time I would consider them in a sale season.

Great style and colors, but too stiffI was very excited to try on these shoes endorsed by Roger Federer and worn by Ben Shelton, but unfortunately, even after the break-in period, they were just too uncomfortable to keep wearing for tennis. I wanted so much for these to work and tried everything in the book to stretch them out and keep using them, but to no avail. The biggest problem is the toebox. The fifth metarsal (which is the bottom bone on the pinky toe) is jammed into the side of the shoe, causing excruciating pain. I don't know why On altered the shape from the original Roger Pro, which has a more splayed toebox, in keeping with a player's actual foot shape, as that would have avoided the problem. This is a very beefy shoe, so the durability issues of the first generation were addressed in the Roger Pro 2. However, there is minimal ventilation, so after three hours on a blistering hot court, your feet will be baking in these. For reference, I'm a 5.5 collegiate player, so I play long hours. On the plus side, there is ample cushioning, particularly on the heel, and the colors and design are attractive. You just can't play tennis in these shoes, unfortunately. On won't accept returns after you've used their shoes, so I'm now stuck with expensive walking shoes that I can't use for tennis, which is what I bought them for in the first place. Lesson learned.

Comfortable but not DurableI agree with the previous comments about the soles wearing out. My "go-to" shoe previously was the New Balance 1006 as it was breathable, light, durable and wearable right out of the box. Unfortunately New Balance discontinued this model and I am in search of a new favorite. (I will no longer purchase Adidas due to their lack of honoring the 6 month sole guarantee.) I purchased these shoes based upon a friend's recommendation regarding their comfort, however have found that the tread on the sole has already worn smooth after a couple of months. I play 2-4 times a week and have rotate the shoes worn throughout the week.

On the right trackThis tennis shoe is on the right track. It could be a great shoe with some tweaking for women. The fit is fantastic and the shoe stays in place. It’s well made and very sturdy. Now the downside, the shoe is very heavy and the ball of the foot area is wide. This leads to tripping and stumbling. The shoe also gets very hot in summer months depending on where you live. The shoe also wears out quickly. I really wanted to like these shoes. I will not be buying another pair until these issues are addressed.

Comfy but sole wears out quicklyComfy, except for the tongue which is too high and can be annoyingly in the way when tying. The sole wore out in about a month, which is ridiculous for how expensive this shoe is.

Almost there…There’s so much that’s really good about this shoe. The hard sole protects the foot better than any other court shoe I’ve tried. All of the materials that are used to make it are super, and it’s very cute and streamlined. Also love a good, classic white tennis shoe, and this one really fits the bill. In the minus column, it’s too narrow inside around the ball of the foot and there’s very little cushioning inside the shoe. If they’d fix those two issues with the next version of the shoe, it would be my new favorite court shoe. I hope On will do that. I had to return them bc of these issues, so I didn’t play in them. Finally, the front of the sole/ base of the shoe is wide like a running shoe, which made me worry about stumbling with lateral movement on the court, but if RF is putting his name on this shoe, I’ll trust that it wouldn’t be an issue. Hope to see a version 3.0 of this shoe with a few improvements soon. Our sport definitely needs better constructed chic looking shoes like these. Keep us posted, On! You’re heading in the right direction!

Heavy and Over-PronatesI wanted to love this shoe. But I do not. It is very heavy which makes me think I could easily trip on court. The heel is very wide. The shoe causes serious pronation and has lateral rims that are extremely wide. This is a man’s shoe in my opinion - that was not modified for a woman’s foot. Heavy and very solid. Fights against speed and agility. Like wearing ankle weights. For a few positives. Very serious construction. I’m guessing this shoe will not wear out. Wide toe box which I like. Because of how heavy and sturdy it is, once you’re planted, you can whale on the ball. Looking forward to a lighter version.

the women's version is rather narrowIt fits more like general Nike shoes - narrower on the width especially near the pinky toe; compared with adidas which is wider overall and wider toe box. I was hoping that it would run a bit wider as the reviews for the men's version revealed.
