Overview
Introducing the Selkirk Amped Pro Air Epic. In 2017 Selkirk changed the landscape of the sport, with paddles that strike middle ground for control and power. And after several years of accumulating on-court feedback, along with internal company R&D, Selkirk renders an even more advanced, and refined paddle that suits beginner and pro players alike! The Epic shape along with the edge-less design and Air Dynamic Throat is retained, but everything else under the hood, including the hood has been updated. In addition, the Amped Pro paddles are available in 5 different colors. The X5+ Honeycomb 16mm Core is where the balance of its controllable power begins, and the choice of a 16mm width complements long-swing power from the baseline, and an even higher degree of short-swing precision near the NVZ. Selkirk's FlexFoam is then applied around the core's edge, which combined with the 360 Proto Molding paddle construction, maximizes sweet spot power, improves stability, durability, and minimizes unwanted vibration. Besides good surface durability, extra power is afforded by Selkirk's proprietary FiberFlex+ face base layer. An outer layer of ProSpin+ Next Gen technology dials in easy access to spin on the ball. Another option for the Amped Pro Air Epic is a weight range between 7.8 - 8.2 ounces, and like previous versions of the Epic, comes standard with a 5.25 inch handle length. Selkirk's Amped Pro Air Epic is a great all-court choice for those who want a comfortable and spin friendly paddle with a slight towards control, and unwavering obedience at net.
