Raw speed meets spin-friendly precision and great feel

Updated with a new cosmetic, the TF40 (315g) 16x19 is ideal for intermediate and advanced players who crave speed, spin, and precision. In addition to its surgical 98in² head (think accuracy), the TF40 comes with a sub-65 RA, giving it excellent pocketing and ball feedback. Weighing over 330 grams strung, the TF40 (315g) 16x19 feels stable against higher pace while remaining fast enough for whipping up spin or reacting quickly at net. Notable features include a unique 5-sided RS Sharp Beam, which enhances stability and control, along with Dynacore XTC for added touch, dwell time, and pocketing. This racquet is also packed with  Foam, giving it an impressively dampened and solid feel at impact. Ultimately, the TF40 (315g) 16x19 remains a perfect option for experienced players looking to combine classic control and feel with modern speed and spin.

The perfect racquet for meI'm a 4.5/4.0 player. I was playing with the previous gen TF315 but it wasn't weighted to my liking (too center heavy) and after switching to a dozen other racquets one by one I ended up not liking them and landed on the previous gen TF305 which has great weighting and balance. I read the specs on the new TF40 315 and it's actually very similar to the previous gen TF305- it has a decent swingweight and a good balance point, I went ahead and bought it new from TW. I think the feel and control are even better than the previous gen 305 which was an incredible racquet. After a year of playing with heavier and heavier racquets and adding more and more weight to 3 and 9, I realized that I need a racquet that is more maneuverable than a club. For me this racquet is ideal because it's twistweight is under 14. Mine was 13.7 if I recall correctly. If you want a higher twistweight racquet you can add weight to 3 and 9 or there are a lot of different racquets available (new TFight, etc). But if you want a moderate twistweight / high maneuverability and you care about feel and control then your options are very limited. Try this TF40 315g, or even the old TF40 305g. I strung mine with Babolat natural gut in mains at 49lbs and poly tour pro in crosses at 45lbs.
