Overview

The Tecnifibre Select pickleball paddle combines Six Zero’s proven approach to paddle construction along with Tecnifibre’s eye towards detail and quality. Within the dimensions of the Select’s 16.3” x 7.7” hybrid shape, which is akin to the Six Zero Ruby, are an array of traits which strike middle ground between all-out paddle power and control. As with the other Tecnifibre paddles, top notch stability and realistic power is sourced from the Select’s 8.1 ounce average weight and its Thermoformed Construction. Complementing the Tecnifibre Select’s power even further, along with improving comfort, is the use of a 15mm Polypropylene Honeycomb Core. The choice of Aramid Fiber (Kevlar) for the surface material not only delivers top-end spin potential but also helps quiet the response at contact of the ball. And for additional comfort Tecnifibre then applies their own T-Feel (dampening) Technology  to the internals of the Select's 5.5 inch handle, which is long enough for one or two handed shot makers. Regardless if you are making a full switch from tennis to pickleball, play more doubles than singles, or just want a great hybrid paddle paired with a Kevlar surface, intermediate to advanced level players will definitely want to give the Tecnifibre Select a try.

Good pop and power with less control.Texture is fantastic for spin. Really grabs the ball. Pops a lot so gives power. Feels clunky though, on the heavier side.

Great paddle but logo causes issuesLove the paddle good mix of power spin and touch. Would love to have seen a little longer handle for being able to grip with two hands. The one major issue I have is the TF logo. You can greatly fell the texture difference where the logo is it’s almost smooth to touch not gritty like the rest of paddle. When playing can see the difference in spin from hitting the logo vs not it’s a big amount.

Great all around paddleDemo’ed all three at a club nearby and select stood out by far. Nice grit on the paddle with the aramid surface for good spin potential and control. Resets don’t take much effort and power is there if you choose so. Would recommend.

Great all around paddlesDemo’ed all three nearby and decided to get the TF. Grit on the paddle gives nice balance of spin and control, the extended handle is also a nice touch. Great for resets as well.

UndistinguishedI currently play with a 11six24 and found the TF to have less power for my serves and not a difference in control. It wasn’t bad just not better enough to switch. I returned it.

Go to paddleBeen playing for a couple weeks…plays similar to a j2k or ruby but feels less cheap then the j2k… solid resets and great drops, however still has great power when needed for groundstrokes. Not to mention the grit on this paddle is insane, by far most grit and spin on any paddle I’ve tried. Would definitely recommend for any level considering the sweet spot is large and consistent.
