Great at first but after about a month, issueI've been through a lot of shoes. Too many, adidas, Nike, Wilson, Diadora, Yonex, Lacoste. One pair seems to address one issue but introduce another. I thought I found "the one" with these. Required some break in as they were a little stiff. They are a good fit, not much sliding around in the shoe that leaves me with black and blue nails. Good support for the edges of my feet, but after about a month one of my issues popped up. It's the callus on the right pinky, despite my wrapping it in tape. The only way I've been able to avoid that issue is with a pair of Diadoras that are loose, and make me prone to ankle turns.

DurableI usually go through shoes fast because they wear out in the front of the toe box. These shoes have been very durable. They had a little bit of a break in but that makes them form to your foot better. They are a fast shoe and I move forward and backward quickly. They absorb the shock well from all the jumping and volleys I do. My legs recover more quickly after playing tennis in these than any other shoe.

Firm and ComfortableThis is my second pair of Wilson shoes. The fit is snug, but comfortable. It did not take long to break them in.

Poor cushioningFit very tight, not for wider feet, and very poor cushioning make this Wilson shoes an average

Not wideThis shoe is advertised as designed for wide feet. I had difficulty getting my feet into the shoes and walking around the house trying them out was downright uncomfortable. I returned the shoes and purchased the New Balance CT Rally 2E instead. The CT Rally shoes are great!!

Good cushioning but a bit narrowI try a half size up on regular shoes for my feet to be able to wiggle their toes. The Wilson was still too snug (before the feet expand from heat and pounding away on the court) so I didn’t feel confident enough to purchase them. Looks-wise, the white ones I tried were just super white. The shoes would go very well with a walker - just from a looks point of view.

4.0 > 4.5Tennis pro on court 30+ hours a week. Use the shoe with a generic gel sports orthotic. Toe box is a bit smaller than 4.0. Otherwise, if it fits your foot, great shoe for both hard and clay court (clay bottom). Good durability, good grip, very solid shoe. Long time Nike Vapor 9/9.5 user but haven’t found a shoe besides the Rush Pro that I’ve liked for playing. Highly recommend for players of all levels and ages. Not the lightest, but good cushion and support, good breathability for those playing in the Florida humidity.

Good fit and a good shoeThese replace two different sets of new-ish models of New Balance. The NB's were both thin on cushioning under the fore-foot and would hurt after 90 minutes of play. No problem with these Wilsons. And they fit my wide feet.

Direction is good but not quite there yet.I have used Wilson shoes for years and found that the Rush 3.5 were great. When the 4.0 came out I ordered them to test them out right away. The result was horrible. The form of the shoe was much wider therefore not quite usable for tennis, and the shoelaces were extremely prone to failure, I broke them the second time I wear them!!! I got told by Wilson that they had a fix for it but did not offer to change the shoe... I could not use them for any activity. I ended up ordering every 3.5 I could find and hoped I would be able to find a new shoe before I would run out of them. So here we are with 4.5 version. Wilson seems to have rectified the major screw ups, yet there are still some small issues. On the good side, Wilson now has a wide and a narrow shoe. I feel the narrow is still a little too wide but close enough. The shoelaces problem is better (nothing seems to break anymore) but there is not enough friction to help maintain the tension on the laces during the process of tightening them, so the laces tend to come loose very easily as I try to finish to make the knot. It is still too early to say if the quality of the shoe is good. I need to play some more tennis in it.

Get These, Not the 4.0I absolutely hated the 4.0. While the lacing system was supposedly fixed in that shoe, it really wasn’t; I had multiple pairs of that shoe where the lacing system broke. Consequentially, I got to try to the lite and extra duty versions of the 4.0. Definitely true to their names but not enough cushioning and too bulky, respectively. The 4.5 fixes the 4.0 lacing issue as well as some minor updates. There’s the band/hook on the back to help put your foot in—a bit useless so far. One noticeable update is the increased thickness and size of the medial aspect of the shoe for durability, something I noticed wearing down in my 3.5s (since I went back to those). Slightly larger than the 4.0s. The other main difference I notice is the lace length. Where my 3.5 laces might have been just a bit long, these 4.5s may be just a tad too short because it’s a traditional lacing system. Therefore, tough to get that second knot, and I would prefer too long than short for laces. With the return to a more normal lacing system, definitely back to this version of this shoe. Of note, I have a slightly flat almost 2E foot. Tried the wide, and that was too much for my paws. Recommend this shoe, especially if you liked the previous versions and need the 6 month guarantee.

Wide for the right foot typeI have a very wide foot and these fit perfect. Surprised at how well they fit. They are flared, so if your feet flare out, stay away. Length was true. I wear an 11.5 and can go 2E-4E in some shoes. Very comfortable. On the court they had good grip, I felt pretty low to the ground, and moved easily side to side, and running down drop shots.

Good shoeThese shoes provide amazing stability when running on court, I have found that the base of the shoe makes lateral movements easier compared to other shoes I have tried, also I prefer the design that Wilson uses in their shoes to keep the back of the foot supported, which decreases my foot from moving around too much within the shoe

Not wide at allI have a wide, but not weirdly wide foot. Hoped to enjoy the quality construction of this new Wilson wide shoe. Out of the box the forefoot is not wide at all. It's foot pain narrow.
