This powerful weapon gets updated with more comfort and speed for 2022

Introducing the Wilson Ultra 100 v4! Like previous generations, this modern player's racquet specializes in speed, spin and power. At 11.2 ounces strung and boasting a sub-320 swingweight, the Ultra 100 v4 is not only ideal for intermediate players but it should also tempt the advanced ball striker who craves explosive acceleration. For 2022 Wilson adds its uniquely flexible FORTYFIVE weave to the carbon fiber layup. This not only helps the racquet bend vertically (which compliments modern topspin mechanics), but it also provides a welcomed boost in pocketing and comfort. Other updates include a re-engineered beam, including a thinner shaft for speed. Ultimately, with some nice tweaks to the feel and response, this is an impressive update to the Ultra franchise. Aggressive players looking for a powerful modern player's racquet with easy access to spin should add this to their demo list.

StableSurprisingly stable relative to its weight. With added weight, it is even better. Great racquet for flat or spin with moderate power.

Wilson Ultra 100 v4Although similar specs to the Pure Drive - which I used for the past few years - I have found greater feel and touch with the Ultra! For me, it’s allowed me to add more variety to my game, largely due to better feedback from the racquet, and my increased confidence in performance. And I’ve always preferred the Wilson pallet and butt cap. For me, easier grip changes due to comfort with the shape and bevels.

Best racquet ever! It’s a must have for anyoI'm currently playing Middle School tennis (transitioning to High school), and this racquet is amazing. I used to use a Wilson BLX Pro Open 100 and I fell in love with the ultra instantly. I have been searching for a new racquet for two years now and finally found the one. It felt just like my old racquet, except it was easier to use and has the perfect balance between power, spin, and control. I tried many racquets before this one such as the Babolat Pure Aero 98 and 100, Babolat Pure Strike, Wilson Clash 98, and even more! I love this racquet and it is the best. I can finally be confident with my first serve, my backhands are so much better, and I can hit such bigger forehands all with the comfort of knowing it will go where I want it to. If you're like me and you want power, spin, and control, this is the racquet for you. It's hard to find a racquet like this! Wilson, great job, this is a work of art!

Wilson Ultra v4I got recommended to buy this racquet and it was worth it. It have good control and spin. I used to use Walmart tennis racquet lol. For someone like me that has played tennis for 1 year and a half, it was worth the money. I'm a beginner-intermediate player.

Wilson Ultra V4After 1 year (I came from a Babolat Pure Drive+ 315g) I have to say I am pretty comfortable with this racquet. I get used pretty fast. Decent power and control. I feel it is an all-around stick and suitable for mostly anyone.

Wilson UltraGreat racquet for my 3.0 level tennis. Nice weight and balance point, gives me lots of pop and spin strung w/Wilson NXT 17 gauge. Highly recommend

Great RacquetBeginner here :) I did a lot of research to find a powerful racquet and ended up demoing three racquets with Wilson Ultra 100 v4 as a last option! To my surprise, it was the best one for me! My game improved and added more power and control... Again still a beginner but I feel much better with this racquet than before. Also, customer service are great and helped me with stringing options so overall happy with the experience

Best Wilson Racquet for Intermediate PlayersAfter playing with Wilson Pro Staff I decided I needed a racquet that doesn't require such effort for EVERY shot! And being older, the thin beam was taking a toll so I demoed several brand racquets and the Wilson Ultra 100 stood out for increased power and easier spin. Highly recommend over the Shift and Babolat.

You have to try this stick! The Ultra 100 is the only Wilson racquet I have ever been able to play with. I used to use the Pure Drive but this is better all around. I also changed as suggested by the team at TW from Wilson sensation 17 to NRG 17 for more power, same control and being arm friendly! Like the new set up at 50lbs I tried 8 racquets in demo and nothing hit like the Ultra.

Made the Switch!4.5 player here! I have played with a Bablot Pure Drive since I started and could never find a racket that I liked better until I demoed this version. I’ll say they are very similar but I love how light it feels but can still pack a punch. I’ll say it’s not as forgiving from the base line as the Pure Drive but that’s part of my draw toward it. Good spin potential. Good control with volleys. I’ve noticed I don’t have any elbow pain with this racket whereas I’ll tend to get some with the Pure Drive. I’m not sure if I’ll fully commit and buy a second racket but I second the review in that I’ve really enjoyed hitting with this racquet and don’t regret this purchase at all!
