Babolat adds another chapter to one of the game's most iconic racquets

With its "best of class" combination of speed, spin and power, the Pure Aero is one of the most popular and versatile racquets ever made. At 11.2 ounces strung and boasting a zippy sub-325 swingweight, this stick delivers easy acceleration from the baseline and quick handling at net. It also possesses the kind of spin-friendly precision and raw power that is dangerous in the hands of aggressive players. For 2022, in addition to a more arm-friendly flex point, Babolat adds comfort with NF² Technology, which uses flax inserts in the handle and upper hoop to soften ball impact. Babolat also updates its FSI Spin technology with slightly tighter string spacing. The result is greater control (and confidence) when maximizing stroke speed in the service of power and spin. Intermediate and advanced players looking for a speedy spin-monster with surgical targeting will love this update.

The COMPLETE racquetSo much control, it should be marketed as a Precision racquet. Great comfort (make sure you string 3-4 pounds less than your norm, due to the denser string pattern) Power house on a stick (I don't understand who says not enough power, it's certainly still an Aero racquet) and with the right technique it can be a missile launcher Go for it, with no hesitation

Good power and spin but not arm friendlyI used this racquet for 6 months and it did work well as other reviews described below. Power and Spin frame, that can be easily used by 3.0 to 4.5 levels. But - it gave me wrist pain that was only present when playing with this racquet and not others in my rotation.

No Pain, Lots of GainI've been trying many Babolat racquets since their premier sponsored players were Moya and Corretja, and all of them were just too harsh for my arm. But not this one. The first Bab I've hit with that I can honestly say is a comfortable and almost plush feeling frame. I thoroughly enjoyed hitting with it, clearly more control and more manageable power than prior versions of this particular model, and offering dependable and effective serves from the very first ball hit. An excellent revision of the Aero franchise, I'm seriously considering switching to it.

Absolute WeaponI’ve demoed many racquets across many brands and this is hands down the best. Excellent combination of spin and power, and stability against harder shots. Can be launchy but not unexpected with a 100 square inch spin racquet.

Great RacquetI had the Aero from 2019 and while I really liked it, I feel this 2023 model fits my style of play better. Great spin and a nice weight. Highly recommend.

Totally Different FrameI have played with the previous two versions of the Pure Aero frames for many years now (4.5 level). The 2023 version may as well be a completely different racquet. If you are looking to upgrade your 2019 Pure Aero frame, the 2023 version is nothing like it. Highly recommend trying it first.

Great for singlesThis racquet is exceptionally lightweight while also providing enough power for you to return good shots in a tight singles match. Allows you to easily put lots of spin on the ball, and makes it easy to place the ball too. Great all around racquet. Only minor flaws are that it is not a great power racquet. Get the Pure Drive if you want that. Otherwise this one is better.

My teenage loves itThis racquet was initially recommended by the coach. When I called the representative, I was told that this racquet might be too much for a 14 years old kid. I finally decided to purchase this version. So far the kid loves it. I plan to buy one backup racquet but will probably consider a different model.
