Great racquetGood cons, it's light, it's awesome, great topspin with it and it's more of a slicing racquet, great feel in my hand, heavy weight in the handle awesome racquet. I put in micro gosen 16 strings they're so powerful and how I'm hitting they will not last. The bad cons, not a racquet to volley with, it was hard serving took a lot of energy out of me unless you're a pro like Novak he can serve great with it or Roger Federer my idol

3 ounces, people.For all the alleged technological advances in tennis racquets it's a little ironic that none of these have managed to improve upon this racquet, first introduced during the Reagan administration. For those who fret about this racquet's weight, keep in mind that it is maybe 3 ounces heavier than the lightest racquets. 3 ounces. The stability and plow through that this racquet it offers is worth bulking up at the gym to handle those daunting extra 3 ounces.

Impressive Racquet, If You're Strong EnoughI've experimented with several different racquets and have settled with the POG. I would say this racquet is for more advanced players, or intermediates with upper body strength. The weight takes some getting used to, but the large sweet spots helps me be more confident in my groundstrokes, and the mass helps tremendously in dealing with pace, volleys, and returns. I hope Tennis Warehouse keeps these in stock for years to come. I string with Head Hawk 17 gauge at 54 pounds.

Nothing Like The Real ThingI played with this frame throughout college and after in the early 90's. Bought a few more of the frames a few years later and noticed they weren't quite the same, but I kept one of the originals of the originals. I stopped playing for an extended period, and then got back into the sport about 10 years ago. I knew I couldn't get this exact frame anymore so tried many newer and modern frames from them all. For kicks, I took this frame back out of the closet, regripped and restrung. Felt like I was years younger for a day. Couldn't wield it around like I used to, but the shots were absolutely there when my timing was.

The best feelIf you are an old timer like myself (pushing 70) who grew up playing the real man tennis, you will not find any better. Hits truly heavy balls, not hollow balls with just speed that you get from other sticks. You cannot flick it, but you can rip it if your technique is good. Not suitable for players who live on gimmicks and side spins (pickleball is a better fit for them). Thank you Prince for making this classic still available.

Absolute gemThis frame is the slightly lighter version of the original POG. Easier to swing but still retains the plow through. I play with the double hand backhand and this racquet is just perfect for slices and those nasty cross courts on both sides. It took me a couple of days to dial in the serves. Surely one of the best racquets ever made.

Prince got it rightThe Prince Graphite is the best racquet of all time, period. All other makers will always recognize this is the one that set the standard in the graphite thin beam era. Such a relevant frame to this day deserves a spot in the Smithsonian. I wish prince would offer the 90 too but this 107 oversize is where the sweet spot is found. The Prince Graphite is to tennis what a copa mundial cleat is to soccer, or an air Jordan to basketball. Please Prince, never stop making these.
One of the best rackets of all timePlease keep this racquet relevant! It has mass and a huge and forgiving sweet spot. I play with a 4 5/8 grip and notice that these sizes go quickly when they are restocked. Please never stop selling the POG in 4 5/8. I will always be in the market to take them off your hands!
Best solid feel & powerful vintage It may not suitable to the modern game with aggressive top spin and fast close of racket face after hitting (which benefit more from those head light, flexible modern designed racquets), but the great solid feel, precision control and power always the best choice for the old style of big swing and hard hitting flat ball with moderate spin. Volley is also in exceptional control and stable.

Comments: I am a 4.5 player, and have been frustrated for decades to find a racket that I like. I loved playing with my Yonex R-22 in the late 80's and have tried many modern rackets and have liked none of them. I was finally fed up with my Wilson Blade 100 (too light), and I decided to go old school and buy the updated Prince Graphite. I love it! I can hit as hard as I want, and the feel and placement is amazing. The only downside, it is a little sluggish at net compared to the lighter and more maneuverable modern rackets.

Comments: By far one of the very, very far the best players racquets ever made. Solid on all strokes, predictable and produces very heavy spin and depth. All that plus no shoulder or elbow pain! I use this with Luxilon 4g 125 or other soft poly at 60/62 lbs and control is predictable. Don't be fooled by the oversized and 107 inch head. It plays like a 98/100 square inch head. Try it and fall in love.

Comments: Without a doubt one of the greatest sticks ever, however it may not be for everyone. I have been playing with this racquet for over 30 years, and to be honest other racquets do not give me the feel and spin, along with plow through that this frame does. I put tons of lead on my sticks and most players can't handle 14 to 15 ounces. Frames, I also string then tight, depends on surface and weather conditions. For me; I may never switch, why would I? Comments: This one is still the benchmark for those seeking player-frame mass, stability, and feel in an oversize frame. I still have a few hanging on the racks. If you have the timing, form, and footwork dialed in, this frame will do the rest. It will neutralize the heaviest serve with little effort. It will allow you to deliver, with pinpoint accuracy, punishing groundstrokes and laser-like first volleys. Half volleys on challenging service returns at your shoes are no problem. You'll crush overheads. Kick serves, slices, and flat missiles are effortless. Touch shots such as drop shots are butter, but if you don't have the timing or form and footwork dialed in, a 12 gram plus piece of lumber that will punish you all day long. If you're an Open Division, 5.0, or maybe a younger 4.5 on-the-rise level competitor, you won't find a better players frame in the 107 range. I pull mine off the racquet every few months and enjoy it for maybe a set, I can't drive it for long however, those days are gone. I went to the next best thing, the Head Microgel Oversize, it's close, but it's just not the POG caliber, surrendering the things of youth.

Comments: This racquet is amazing to hit with. Power and stability is present in the racquet. I feel very connected to the ball and enjoy the spin; it really helps with control because there is so much mass to keep the ball deep. I strung the racquet with Volkl V-Pro at 50 pounds, and 56 pounds at another time. I enjoyed the power of the lower string tension, but struggled to flatten out my shots. The higher tension really helps with control. I am a 3.5 player that plays both singles and doubles. This is the best racquet I have played with. I also use a Head Extreme for a lighter and easier to swing option, but the Prince Classic Graphite 107 offers so much better feel and stability.

Comments: I bought one of these POG oversize racquets late last summer as I wanted to get back into the game after many years of not playing. I've been hitting a lot more with it recently and am really into the comfortable old school feel. Not only is it a dream to hit with from the baseline, but also excels at net, very stable on volleys. I used to use racquets like the Pro Tour 280 and Rd-7, so I was used to a heavier players type of racquet. After not playing in so long I decided an oversize would probably be the best option, but I didn't want an ultra stiff feather weight racquet. I strung mine up with Gosen OG Sheep Micro 16 gauge at 67 pounds. I may go up in tension a little bit more as I heard control it is best at around 70 pounds.

Comments: Is it my imagination or has this latest incarnation of the POG gotten a little lighter. My previous one weighed in at over 12 ounces. I picked up a new one recently and it weighs in at around 11 3/4. It actually feels a bit lighter, too.

Comments: I have never submitted feedback for a racquet before. I have owned more racquets than I can probably remember. I have been playing for 40 years. Now almost all doubles. Three or four times a week at the 4.0 level. I bought two of these about a month ago and absolutely love them. Don't let the weight scare you off. I also have one of the original ones and these new ones just feel better. They feel rock solid. Very nicely balanced. No vibration. I would think that they will be good for the arm also. They did change the new ones a little. I put one up against the original and it looks like they moved the cross piece in the throat up about a half an inch. I strung one with Prince Topspin and the other with Technifibre MultiFeel 16 gauge, both at 62 lbs. They feel great. I am not a "poly" user so I can't comment on how they would play with a set of it. I am going to buy two more of them while they are still available and tuck them away. Do yourself a favor and at least demo one of these while they are still available. Comments: I purchased the Classic 107 but so far am hoping it loosens up a bit more. It was strung with Technifibre X-One Biphase 16 at 58 lbs. I returned to play after many years and was using my vintage Pro Staff 95. I needed a bigger sweetspot due to eyesight and elbow. I tested the racket I purchased here for my wife a few months ago, a Warrior 107 strung with NHT Control 16, and thought I would get at least the same effortless and solid stroke with even more heft. So far it is seems too tight and the sweetspot seems narrower and shorter than the Warrior surprisingly.

Comments: I have 6 of the prior re-issued versions of this racquet (from 2014 I think), and I just ordered 3 of these! Seriously best frame I have ever used or played with. Have to stock up so I have enough of them to last until I am 90 years old haha! I may buy more if they still have them when I can re-stock my bank account! I usually string at 52 to 54 lbs with Vokl Cyclone. 4.0 USTA and WTT doubles league player.

Comments: First off I would like to thank Tennis Warehouse for bringing back one of the best racquets ever made. I have been hoping that they would bring back this exact series for a long time now. I guess I'm a lucky person this week because here it is. I was using the new version of the Graphite 107 that was lighter and it didn't feel the same. So unfortunately I have a few of those but I wasn't using because I didn't like the way they felt. These rackets feel identical to the series that Tennis Warehouse had for sale about seven years ago approximately. I string my racket with Head Synthetic Gut PPS at 70lbs. The only reason I'm using Head Synthetic Gut is because I got a bunch of it for a dollar a pack. I ideally would like to be using 15L Duraflex. That is my string of choice but it was way more expensive than what I was able to get the Head string for. If you have any holdbacks about this racquet, don't worry there shouldn't be any. I am a 5.0 level player from Massachusetts. I have spoken with many players that use this racket still and I have let them hit with it and they feel as though it is identical to the older models. If the price ever drops, which I doubt it will, I would consider buying some more. But seeing as how I have enough of them right now, I'm not going to. Thank you Tennis Warehouse and Prince for bringing back one of the best racquets of all time. I don't see why this wouldn't be a top seller for you guys at this price point.
